  1. Thanks John, it was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the original post .... a good excuse to get a re-set of a classic.
  2. Okay, but that's not really anything new.

  4. If Landry Jones has a decent year, he won't be around to pick at 14. Regardless, the Bills won't be around to pick at 14 either, play-off teams pick much later. As for draft needs, let's see wait until, well at least training camp is over, and better yet, a few games into the season, to discuss it. At this point, I would say I have no idea what we will really need and what the draft offers as far a quality players. Sorry to be the "debbie Downer" here. really, are you dogging Levitre??? . . . one of the least of our problems/needs . . . accept to resign him!
  5. So sorry for your loss. Your dad's art work is a unique lasting legacy.
  6. Young will be the man, and Thigpen will be looking for a gig elsewhere.
  7. Why so negative? Merriman will be the Comeback Player of the Year in the NFL!
  8. Well, we're not the Patriots, but I'm beginning to like the crew we have assembled at TE. Chandler had the breakout year, and is clearly the number one TE--he will catch 30-40 and will continue to be a big threat in the Red Zone. Smith is just a beast! He scares people when it come to hitting. Brock and Caussin are probably competing for a roster spot--and either seem to be 2nd tier guys who can play when needed. And if the early reviews on Onobun and Dickerson are any indication, we may have two huge surpize contributors in them (although I expect that Fendi O is headed for the practice squad). Bills Article Buffalo New on Dickerson Your thoughts . . .
  9. Start? Yes! Be Successful? No!
  10. Excellent post ChanOverChin: Your reasoning is sound, and you bring a valid arguement, and in doing so, push the thinking here. I want to agree with you, I think all five things you mentioned are improvements; however, top 5 would be gravy, but I think top 10 is more realistic. But, if we get to the top 10, I think our chances of making the play-offs are almost 100%. GO BILLS!
  11. confidence which comes from (successful) experience ... and the productive playing time at the end of last season gave CJ the experience and confidence going onto this season
  12. ditto!
  13. Well, better than the alternative!
  14. yeah, my thoughts: the online deserves some credit for the ability to be consistent, no matter who was back there
  15. Who was it last year that kept calling Nelson a TE during a game broadcast? Anyhow, Nelson is probably a hybrid TE/WR. He has the hight for TE, but speed of a WR. He play tough enough, and is a decent blocker when he needs to be. He is just one of those guys it is easy to root for. I think he is going to have a breakout year. And if he did, he would cement his staining as one of the BIlls fans top guys - he is already close.
  16. Kinda silly and gutless - just pick them! Why all the ties ties? They should have just said a general list of the top 9 (make it 10) teams. Regardless, is that the Eagles line that the BIlls, and several other teams, ran all over last year in their wide-gap formation?
  17. Ah, my mouth is watering as I read this. Does anyone know if there is a local baker that will ship them?
  18. If everyone stays relatively healthy--well, we know there will be some injuries, they just have to be to the right guys; as in, not your stars--Fitz will have a great year. I predict, a better year than Eli or Payton this year! Yep! Better than both! More yards, more TD's, and less interceptions.
  19. I say, sign both him and TO . . . it worked so well in Cincinnati, right?
  20. "As a 3-4 defensive end, he had a solid 43 tackles and 5.5 sacks last year as a rookie. With the Bills changing to a 4-3 front, he will move inside to defensive tackle, where his one-gap penetrating skills should fit perfectly. Dareus is strong, powerful and rarely loses a one-on-one battle. With quick DT Kyle Williams next to him, and with DEs Mario Williams and Mark Anderson rushing off the edge, Dareus will see mostly one-on-one blocks against less athletic offensive guards. The AFC East should be on notice." Let's hope! All signs are pointing that way for him.
  21. welcome OhioGJ, its a beautiful addiction as they say. Every once in a while, you get to feel the high . . . I think this season is going to be one
  22. His spot has to be in jeopardy, although our WR talent isn't outstanding, there are a lot of decent ones. I hope he makes it, but one big thing the Bills wanted to do is get faster there, and the is not his strength.
