  1. great first half: 2 interceptions, no semblance of a pass rush, a fumble, put return for a TD, Fred X out with injury ..... can it get any worse? Oh, yeah it can, still got the 2nd half .... are you kidding me
  2. It's always sunny, 80 degrees, an easyl breeze, every day the Bills win. I believe they're calling for perfect weather in NYC this Sunday!
  3. Last Saturday I was in the mad chaos they call an airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Our group was in the bag check-in area, and across the crowded room of wall-to-wall people, I looked up and saw a guy with a Jets t-shirt on. Both of us were clearly out of place, most everyone else the was probably Haitian. My first impulse, I yelled at him, "Jets Suck!" He looked up, and we both got a good laugh. It was a great moment, one of my proudest as a Buffalo Bills fan.
  4. All of the above
  5. My choices from our cuts: WR Kamar Aiken OL Mark Asper OL James Carmon WR Marcus Easley DT Jarron Gilbert And try to find a fast WR, and developmental QB from somewhere else
  6. Agreed, I thank Edwards will be missed around midseason.
  7. He was a good story, seemed fan friendly, but I don't think he was better than what we have
  8. Well, one time it was so cold at Ralph Wilson Stadium that a froze my A$$ off, can I sue?
  9. ugly, awful, cheap looking, really? . . . whoever thought they were a good idea, or looked good, should be fired! Are these the unies for the season? Can we start a petition or something?
  10. yeah, those collars make it look like some sore of cheap midget league knock-off left over from the 80s. Why??? Who looked at that and "said, yeap, that's what these uniforms need, fake collar to accent the bright royal blue" ????
  11. The tone of the whole piece is skeptical. As was mentioned, at times he seems like he knows what he is talking about, and then on other issues he is baseless. As we were all taught in College Writing 101, nothing replaces the primary source. I get the feeling everything he writes is from secondary sources: TBD, the Bills website, some NFL Network watching, a few national publications, etc. I'd bet anyone he never set foot at the BIlls training camp in the past two weeks.
  12. And didn't I hear Dan Marino is going to be their #1 QB ???
  13. Tim Tebow doesn't deserve this. Way too much class for this organization.
  14. just playing, I don't have a "warning point," but DefenseWinz does, what did you do bad boy? I like it, not that drastically different, just need to get use to it. I did have one issue/question though: When I hit the "Like This" button for the first time, just to see how it works, it gave me a message that I have used my limit for the day. That may need to be fixed.
  15. Thanks much, I haven't been to Training Camp in about 10 years - last time I went I got a Doug Flutie autograph, with all this excitement I'm thinking about breaking my string.
  16. On a more serious note: I do think our LB crew is more talented than we have generally given them credit for. There are a bunch of good young players; but they are unproven. I think by the end of the season, with the improvements to the line, this group will be far more productive than in recent years. Just saying . . .
  17. my thoughts exactly - or is it ???
  18. it's looking more and more like that, the Bills are just too deep at that position to take a flyer on him.
  19. I was hoping Dickerson would find a way to make this work, he's an intriguing athlete--and he's not done yet--but the early reports seems to indicate that McIntyre is not going to just give him the job. WHich is why Cory McIntyre is a fan favorite. Tie will tell.
  20. "Life A R" - This situation calls for compassion and empathy for his this young man's friends and family; and I would add, for you as well. I hope his friends and family, are surrounded by people who will bring comfort and kindness. Life, it's interesting, that we on this board talk about a lot of things, many times things not related at all to football. Incidents like this, should be a quiet reminder, that there is much more to life than football. I've grown to appreciate (and I think many others do as well), that there is much more to the posters on this board than their passion for the Buffalo Bills. We are all humans, with families and friends that we love--and lives that go way beyond these computer screens. The loss of a life that is way too young to die--no matter how it happened, is a vivid reminder to all of us here that there are things in each of our lives much more important than who will be playing Middle Linebacker for the Bills this season. I think for the most part, we all understand that, and when situations like this occur, the compassion and the things that we truly value in life, are demonstrated to each other. Lifer, please try to "get that" as you become a part of this odd, but in its own unique way, community of TBD Buffalo Bills fans. We do really care about people and life, more than who the next owner, or number 2 reciever, of the Buffalo Bills will be.
  21. I think King gives the Bills, and Buffalo in general, a fair representation. He always seems to find something good to say.
  22. Great report 5. Someone in the thread asked: "Do you think the improved D-Line play will make out O-Line better?" I sure hope, and in theory it seems like that should be the case. To all: Any thoughts, or perspective on this?
