  1. In the end, you put your best players on the field. I think Josh Allen is the best QB we have. It will not surprise me if he is the Game One starter. However, if McCarron wins on merit because he has a fantastic Training Camp = GREAT! if he is the game one starter by default = YUCK!
  2. One pass ruined poor Jeff Tuel's career. Oh, what might have been . . .
  3. Is this Doug Marrone stopping by TBD? "Obviously" it must be.
  4. On a serious note, we all assume someone, anyone, will be replacing him soon . . . could it be he is the best option we have ar RT ????
  5. I thought the Bills were only going to draft Baker Mayfield?
  6. I nominate this for Post of the Year ... I'm still laughing.
  7. Really what we need is a few more Josh Allen threads.
  8. No to Dez, Yes to Maclin at a very low price
  9. Who was that rookie two-way punter/kicker last year? He was actually pretty good. If Schmidt goes, get him?
  10. "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” Mike Tyson
  11. A TBD instant classic!
  12. I think McDermott is the key, if he progresses and wins the starting job---because he is better than Mills and Newhouse, the line will be in good shape. .... We are solid in the middle, probably no all-pros, but decent depth and abilities there, the key is the development of a quality Right Tackle. I'm hoping it's McDermott on merit.
  13. Most plausible theory yet From someone with the name " Ifaralot" . . . calling someone else, "stupid and ignorant" ????
  14. My concern with him all along, he is one hit to the head away from being sone with football
  15. I suppose none of this is a surprise to Beane and McDermott. I don't think they woke up after the draft, read the reviews, and went, "Damn, why didn't someone tell us this?" I am trusting their far more experienced perspective--more than even these "paid-to-write-critical-things" reporters--than our limited view. Yes, there is a rick, Cleveland is getting hammered the same way in the national media for picking Mayfield. If Rosen was that good, why did he fall to 10? And Darnold's interception problem will only get accentuated in the NFL. All had their flaws, and all have their strengths. What was so unique about this draft was the options. If it had only been one of them, that one would have been the number one pick. So, as it is, the people who are getting paid to do this in Buffalo have done pretty well over the past year. I'll go with their far more educated perspective than mine, or that of any hack trying to make a name for himself selling sports columns.
  16. Where's Dunkirk Don when we need him? Even if there was any truth to this, I do not think it would be in the Bills best interest. He is not who he was as a player, he has cancerous tendencies both on and off the field, in general, I don't think he fits the type of player that the Bills need or want. . . . It looks and smells (movie theater popcorn-ish) much like when Terrell Owens came to Buffalo--and how'd that work out?
  17. The Bills defense was good last year, but not great. They were vulnerable to a good running game but generally did well against the pass. I think every addition has been an upgrade, so the expectation that this defense is going to be better is fair. How quickly the new guys develop and how quickly they gel will be key. If that happens, it could be a great defense.
