First impression: Rosen for the Phins
CSBill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. As for Rosen, I was never a fan of him. But, it would be fun to see him develop and have the three top 10 picks battle it out in the division for years to come; that is, as long as Allen is the consistent winner. -
Your friend was just trying to keep you from being jealous that you aren’t him.

Just for the fun of it, that’s why.

I hope there's a follow-up video soon, his years since the Auburn incident. -

Early Week 7 Line: Bills -15.5 over Dolphins
CSBill replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lines are simply to create action. Apparently they had to go that high to get activity on this game. Not sure we're that much better, the fins are bad this year, but they have been playing better the past two games. -
Could Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Miami Dolphins?

No. Something like this pops up every year, and the answer is NO! every year. Silliness. Must be bye week. -

The Spain grade surprises me. Didn't the Bills keep going his way on the last drive on Sunday? I'm not sure I take much stock in that low grade. -
It's wonderful to be ignored by the NFL Media Machine!

Check out this awesome interview with Lee Smith
CSBill replied to BillsBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very impressive. I think we see now why the Bills signed him. He is a true professional that will mentor and invest in the younger guys around him. A family man that is not afraid to speak of his values. And if I got in a bar fight, I'd choose him for my side. -
Is it time to pull his commercials???

Calling it now: Zay Jones will not be on the week 1 roster.

you were close, but I'll give you this one -
Zay Jones traded to Raiders for 5th rounder
CSBill replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This does surprise me, but hopefully Beane is collecting draft picks to use in getting help somewhere else this week. I hope Zay is able to reboot and have a decent career there. And speaking of the Raiders, it is nice to have the gullible younger brother who will always fall for your tricks and end up doing your chores for you when mom and dad aren't looking. -
Status of AFC: Should Bills Go All In For 2019?
CSBill replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah, maybe a 3rd, I would go with that -
I have loved this signing from day 1, he is the Dolphins gift that keeps on giving. Yes, get him inked.

Status of AFC: Should Bills Go All In For 2019?
CSBill replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of the people we know who are available (well, at least rumored to be), Diggs is the only one I would seriously consider. Another strong receiver would be a bonus. I would never trade for a Running Back, remember, we let one of the all-time greats walk before the season started. Why? Because the ROI for backs is never high, there are serviceable people out there on Practice Squads and even street free agents. Either can be had relatively cheaply. As for Trent Williams, it appears the price is too high, but that could change. I do think, however, if the injuries are serious to Ford and Morse, they may make some kind of move here. The wild card in this is Bates. We know Long is a capable starter--he has proven value. But Bates seems to be the steal of off-season. Somehow Beane had him targeted, pulled it off, and by all accounts, that appears to be a brilliant pick-up. If it turns out he has to play regularly, it is even better. Having another starting quality o-lineman would be a bonus. Which brings me back to WR. I'm still not sure what we have here. Foster is the enigma right now. He showed great potential last year, but injuries have hampered him this season. I love the Duke story, and what we saw from him yesterday is what he will bring--a good possession guy who will not out-run anyone, just out muscle them--which is good. We seem to be missing one more capable person. I'm sure they thought that Zay, maybe Foster, would be that third wheel, but this is a meritocracy business and you have to produce in games, neither has. So, if (and that's a big "If") the Bills do anything big, I think its in the WR position--that is the one place an immediate impact could be a difference maker. -
Yuuup. Happy Birthday, and its good to see your mind is not getting old. ? One area I would disagree with is Bojo. He's taken a lot of grief here, and after the preseason he had, I understand why. But, the blocked punt was not on him, and beyond that, he's done pretty well. As a matter of fact, I thought he had his best game of the season yesterday. He's coming along, and (channeling my inner Doug Marrone), obviously, if the Bills thought there was a better option out there, they would have signed him when they were looking in week one, obviously. Anyhow, your point is well-taken, "we're good!" Let's enjoy the ride. If the Offense can get any where near the Defense, we'll be really good!

You didn't miss anything, R Bates and Duke W had great debuts. Thanks Shaw, fun to read, and I'm sure fun to write.
