  1. And the 'short hair'...
  2. Nothing says 'too far' like giving a bj in the parking lot for a Kiko freaking Alonso jersey...
  3. I have attributed some of his issues to inexperience, as well; however, at this stage of the season, he is just too inconsistent to be trusted this year, IMO. I'm not sure if he just doesn't work as hard at his craft as he should or if he's just not a natural 'catcher' who will always struggle. Time will tell, I guess. I'm surprised that Josh goes to him as much as he does so Josh must trust him on some level. I'll take that as a good sign and there is no doubting Knox's athletic ability but those hands...woof.
  4. Hopefully, he can find a good hand transplant surgeon in the off season...
  5. Nice reference to 'The Byrds'. I was 32 and had only being dating my future wife for about 7 months. We've been married for 23 years now and our 18 and 20 year old sons just got to experience the first AFC East title of their young lives. The four of us were all watching together. I spent all day leading up to the game thinking about my mom and dad. Mom passed in 2008 and dad in November of 2019. So many other Bills fans who are no longer with us to share in the joy. Soak it all in and cherish the memories fellow Bills fans.
  6. What's with your 'Location' description, brother? Virginia is not the 'deep south'. It's the northern most of the southern states.
  7. No doubt that there was a lot of green in front of him and you'd have to like Josh's chances. The defender was definitely going to have to 'make a business decision.'
  8. That is true. I lost sight of that. Poor on my part.
  9. Bulldog just needs to be separated from Schopp, IMO. He was on with Sal the other day and it was a good listen. They are both personable guys and work well/complement one another. Schopp always seems to be trying too hard to be 'the smartest man in the room' but just comes across as a general douche and disinterested in talking Buffalo sports.. He is a poor man's Colin Cowturd. 'Locked on Bills' with former Grand Islander Joe Marino.
  10. Thanks, Roch. Allen had plenty of room to angle out of bounds and pick up the first down without having to take a hit, IMO. The slide was unnecessary and a poor decision on his part but that is nit-picking. Maybe he picked up the defender late and thought he was closer than he actually was but Josh more than likely would have won that foot race to the sticks. As it turns out, it was a moot point anyway. In fairness to everyone who thought it was a bad spot, I thought it was too when I watched in real time during the game but the evidence shows otherwise.
  11. The refs actually got something right...
  12. "Huh...I don't think I've ever actually seen a Polish motorcycle." *(Disclaimer: Yes...I am actually Polish on my father's side)*
  13. A Merry Bills Christmas and a Happy Bills Year!
  14. My mom grew up in the '50s and loved Elvis. 'Elvis' Christmas Album' was a favorite childhood memory of mine and 'Blue Christmas' is still my favorite Christmas song to this day. My mom passed in 2011 and I always think of her. Thanks, Mom.
  15. I would throw in white over blue, as well. It's sad when the monochrome red appears more than the throwbacks. If they want all blue or all red, wear them on an occasional 1:00 PM Sunday game, not on national TV.
  16. Why can't the damn Pegulas just leave well enough alone? Just wear blue on white at home. Enough with the red pajamas already.
  17. Nice. I went to several training camps at Fredonia State. My grandmother lived a few miles from campus down Brigham Road in Dunkirk. My sis and her bestie got a pic with Doug Flutie at the last camp there in 1999. The girls are both 5' 4" and swear they looked taller than he did. 😆 I have yet to make it to a training camp at St. John Fisher but hope to do so one day.
  18. That's awesome. I remember my dad taking the family to Niagara University one day in 1977 for training camp. I was standing by the snow fence with my younger brother waiting for the players to come over after practice and sign autographs. I really wanted O.J.'s. and he walked up with Reggie McKenzie and signed my paper. I remember that they were laughing as they approached...Reggie must have said something that O.J. found funny because I remember hearing O.J. say, "Legit!" right before he got to the fence and gave us his autograph. That 43 year old memory is etched in my mind like it was yesterday.
  19. I can't believe I forgot to mention #43! He was definitely one of my favorites. I was livid when his 100+ (105?) yard pick-6 was called back on a bogus penalty during a game in the Orange Bowl against Miami. That cost the Bills the game and there never would have been an '0 for the '70s' had it stood.
  20. I was a kid in the 1970s so those Bills players hold a special place in my heart even though they only made the playoffs once, in 1974. The 1973 squad...the one where O.J.Simpson ran for 2,003 yards...was my favorite. I can't pick just one player. Among my favorites were O.J., Bob Chandler, J.D. Hill, Joe Ferguson, Joe DeLamielleure, Reggie McKenzie, and Robert James.
  21. This game is the cure for insomnia...
  22. Atlanta and Miami. I read something several years ago that said there was a study done showing that Atlanta and Miami were the two worst pro sports cities across all sports, not just football. Any Dolphins home game you watch, the half filled stands consist of at least 1/3 or more enemy fans. The MLB Marlins are irrelevant as are the NHL Panthers and the NBA Heat are only noticed when they are front runners. There is just to much to do and see in South Beach and they have 'outdoor' weather year round, much like LA. Pro sports are secondary, unlike in the north east. Atlanta is just too transient and they are college crazy. The MLB Braves won the NL East like 14 years running and couldn't even sell out their playoff games during that time, the NHL Flames fled to Calgary and the NBA Hawks...do they even exist anymore (j/k)? Atlanta and Miami for me, not even close. Honorary mention to Jacksonville which is just an extension of southern Georgia.
