  1. "Head coach Mike Mularkey is safe. Wilson likes Mularkey's style, his presence and his straight-shooting approach. Mularkey has a respected group of teachers on his staff. He also has three years to go on his contract." Let's see: A) "Head coach Mike Mularkey is safe. Wilson likes Mularkey's style, his presence and his straight-shooting approach." What exactly did Wilson like about MM's style today? His beautiful play call on first and goal from the four? The fantastic 2-yard Roscoe Parrish "trick play" throw for a whopping 2-yards? His ability to go into a conservative third quarter shell while trying to sit on a 20 point lead? B) "Mularkey has a respected group of teachers on his staff." When are they going to "teach" their players to close a game? C) "He also has three years to go on his contract." And there it is! And so it goes...another lost year in the annals of our beloved Buffalo Bills.
  2. You pretty much summed it up for me. I'm always hoping for the best, as the "Customer member title" under my avatar suggests, but that fugging play call on the four yard line...on FIRST DOWN...up 23-3! Jeezuz H! I about hit the ceiling!!! You roll ten yards back and throw an off-balance pass??? Sure JP is to blame for that boneheaded mistake but who called the play in the first place????? I'm sure Losman didn't check out of a run...didn't Mularkey take over the play calling from Clements because of lousy results in the past and that's the best he can come up with in that situation?! Run three freakin' times if you have to...I'll take a FG in that spot. That play totally shifts the momentum...a score there and you break their backs, game over. Every GD week they have to "out cute" themselves with some insane play call that costs them. I'm not a sky is falling kind of guy but that play brought to the forefront all of the frustration and anguish that is this season...I was calling for Ralph to dismiss the whole staff tomorrow I was so pissed. I'm still pissed but it's just a game and a game that I have no control over...nonetheless, it's still disgusting and this year has left me emotionally drained on Sunday afternoons. Rant over...peace.
  3. My Dearest Ralph, Blow me! You had your chance. Mr. Irsay may be a smarmy tool, akin to a used car salesman, but at least I can control the dumb ba$tard. You're on your own. Good luck. Fondly, "ExBuffalo" Bill Polian
  4. No you don't...you're a Government worker.
  5. Thanks for making me feel like a dick. Sorry for your loss, truly. Didn't mean to offend. Happy Thanksgiving.
  6. The operative word being was.
  7. Mike Maniscalco (Sports Radio 910AM)...not only is he a Viking fan but he's a NY Ranger fan, as well. He's taken several pot shots at the Bills and I even heard him say one time that "Buffalo is NOT a hockey town although they think they are." Buffalo sports fan or not, I think they guy sucks. I can't stand his "style" and his anti-Buffalo agenda certainly doesn't help. What do you expect from a guy who used to work for WGR55...he even stole Chuck Dickerson's schtick by theming his Monday post-football shows as "Game Balls and Smelly Jock Straps". I remember the day he came up with it...acted like it was new and gave no mention of or credit to his former crappy colleague. The day he and the other local hack, "Big Al" Coleman (Redskin apologist ad nauseum - ESPN Radio 950AM), are fired will be a great day in Richmond sports radio.
  8. Ditto. Ditto, again. Sellouts have nothing to do with it. LA won't sell out it's games (maybe initially, but not after the novelty wears off). This is about TV market size and visibility. LA is the #2 market in the nation and Tags and the new guard NFL owners want that market to line their greedy pockets. LA has lost every football franchise they've ever had over the last 80 years or so due to relocation or league failure but the NFL just can't take a hint.
  9. That little turd, Dan Snyder-ly Whiplash, would take him in a minute...he and Al Davis.
  10. It was the other "Norman Einstein" in the booth, Mike Patrick. He was gushing all over himself like he'd just eaten a Bruschi (We're not worthy!) retatta.
  11. You had me at Kelly...
  12. Based purely on faces I'd say Sara in Wilson, but I'd have to see the rest of their...ahem...assets.
  13. Yeah, that he won't cure what ails the Bills.
  14. I heard Golden State would be interested if the Eagles cut him. You probably heard that he's a warrior on ESBN...between Bruschi (We're not worthy!) is Jesus Bruschi (We're not worthy!) stories, of course.
  15. Is there something we should know, Harriet? Dude, you're waaaaaaaaaaaaay gay! Not that there's anything wrong with that!
  16. We should all pop open a cold Bruschi (We're not worthy!) and chill out on this beautiful fall day.
  17. Coming in what? Or is that whom?
  18. Good to see you again, Rich...I've missed your sarcasm.
  19. That T.O. is one class act he is...I can't believe some of the "maroons" around here who would "take him in a heartbeat". The guy is a malignant cancer and he's single handedly taking down the Iggles from a SB contender to an also ran. He's arguably the best receiver in football, but having him around is like signing a pact with the devil...you'll love it at first but eventually you'll have to pay. If he's frequently taking shots at Donovan McNabb, imagine what he'd be saying about the Bills' QBs.
  20. I prefer to think of them as 0-8 in the coin toss...I'd much rather have the second half kickoff.
  21. How about the Bills' own Jim Haslett? Anyone remember the game against the Stillers when he stomped on Terry Bradshaw's bald dome after Bradshaw's helmet had come off? Classic! He got ejected and he didn't help the Bills' cause that day but it sure felt good watching it.
  22. Awesome! I can still hear Van Miller echoing: "That's twoooooooooooo for McAdoooooooooooooo!!". (Sigh) I swore off of the NBA after that bastard John Y. Brown moved the team from Buffalo. They've been soooooooo much more successful in San Diego and now LA, haven't they?!
  23. I think three more and the Bills will lock up home field for the coin toss playoffs!
  24. Great post, g!
