Since when is OL coach to Offensive Coordinator a lateral move? It's a promotion. You may be right but I don't think the Asst. HC title means anything unless someone else tries to hire him as an OL coach.

So let me get this straight. You think that the Bills...who have already invested a 1st Round draft pick on an unproven QB...should invest a top 10 pick on yet another unproven QB??? Puhleeeeeeeease! You think SD is dealing him for less than a 1st??? Um, no way. So we ignore a chance to upgrade either the OL or DL or both (if we trade down and stockpile picks)? Wow, thank God you're not the GM.

A) Uh, no he's not "as good a choice as anybody else." B) "It's as good a choice as Williams or Malarky!" Really? Williams and Mularkey were bad choices. So if April is "as good a choice" then you're ok with yet another mediocre head coach? Don't you want more than that? This is 'A' to 'C' logic. Where is 'B'? Yes, Marv got his start as a special teams coach but he didn't jump straight to a head coaching position from there. He held other positions/titles in between those two gigs. Can you name a ST coach who jumped straight to a HC?? I didn't think so...it just doesn't happen that way.

I'm not sure...he's an EFA, so he's not going anywhere. For whatever reason, Peters and his agent have decided to engage the Bills in a high stakes game of "chicken". The Bills hold all the leverage...Peters will blink first, IMHO.
