  1. You two have perfectly described my most lasting memory from that game. I was twenty-seven at the time and had been a diehard Bills fan since I was old enough to remember watching them on TV and listening to them on the radio as a young tyke. I just kept thinking how un-Bill-ievable the feeling was. It seemed like the Super Bowl was something that other teams' fans were destined to enjoy, not us Bills fans. Very surreal. I was watching on TV, here in Virginia, with my brother (both of us originally from Grand Island) and two buddies (one from Silver Creek and the other from Buffalo). What a feeling to share in that joy with family and friends who were all lifelong Bills fans. It was the next best thing to actually being at the game. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories, especially after the new 'Dark Ages' we've been experiencing.
  2. I don't think you have to worry about the Bills being interested...he certainly doesn't meet Marv's "character" standard, regardless of how talented he is. I had heard that Tampa Bay was interested in TO but more recently, the dulfelons. Nick Saban was on 'The Dan Patrick' show the other day and when DP asked if they'd be interested in TO, NS responded with a politically correct 'yes'. If you hate TO now, imagine how you'd feel about him on the 'felons.
  3. Thanks for taking that to the next level.
  4. For gawd's sake, pleeeeeeeeeease let it be the Sherman and Bates show. Just say no to Dick!
  5. Jauron is just the type of milquetoast hiring that will kill any glimmer of hope that fans cling to and erode the season ticket base. What a cluster !@#$ this organization has become.
  6. No...his pu$$y hurt.
  7. Don't forget also that Moulds is a holdover from Marv's regime. The old professor may want to find a way to keep EM around.
  8. The only thing left to make this a perfect playoff weekend would be to see Indy destroy smug-faced-chinboy and the Stillers. GO COLTS!
  9. Throw me into the "he can still be a solid but unspectacular link in our (hopefully) totally revamped OL" camp. Although I wouldn't lose any sleep if he were to be released, I believe he'd be serviceable as the team's 4th or 5th best lineman. Plus, he's a character guy which Marv loves.
  10. Agreed. I don't even think that this is open for debate. It's a no-brainer for Marv and the FO.
  11. That's still not high enough to get ahead of the Jest. They'll be looking at Da Brick, too.
  12. Wrong. I saw it here in Virginia. While I did smile at the commercial, I can see the point Ramius is trying to make. Even though I thought it was amusing, I couldn't help but think "Great, just another kick in the balls for Bills fans." I guess the fact that it came on the heels of such a train wreck of a season made it seem worse than it was. All in all, still entertaining. What's that old saying? Bad PR is better than none at all.
  13. From your lips to God's ears...
  14. 3 words: No... fugging... way.
  15. I agree, not to mention the fact that the job he did with the Jest 'D' was less than stellar. Pass.
  16. Since when is OL coach to Offensive Coordinator a lateral move? It's a promotion. You may be right but I don't think the Asst. HC title means anything unless someone else tries to hire him as an OL coach.
  17. So let me get this straight. You think that the Bills...who have already invested a 1st Round draft pick on an unproven QB...should invest a top 10 pick on yet another unproven QB??? Puhleeeeeeeease! You think SD is dealing him for less than a 1st??? Um, no way. So we ignore a chance to upgrade either the OL or DL or both (if we trade down and stockpile picks)? Wow, thank God you're not the GM.

  19. No surprise there. His stock will never be any higher. He's cashing in at the right time and will probably be drafted higher than he deserves to be.
  20. Bingo. Sensationalism, nothing more.
  21. Amen, amen, and amen. If you don't want to hold Szabo accountable then Jerry Gray should be. One down, one to go.
  22. TB NE CAR CIN
  23. Yeah...by adding the fancy title it makes it next to impossible for another team to steal BA away without offering him a head coaching gig, which won't be happening. The Bills are, in essence, locking up the best ST coach in the league...and rightly so.
  24. I hate to jump on your negativity train but, sadly, I really can't disagree with any of your points. I loved when Marv was our coach but an 80 year old GM is not the answer.
  25. But you are a turd.
