A) Uh, no he's not "as good a choice as anybody else."
B) "It's as good a choice as Williams or Malarky!" Really? Williams and Mularkey were bad choices. So if April is "as good a choice" then you're ok with yet another mediocre head coach? Don't you want more than that?
This is 'A' to 'C' logic. Where is 'B'? Yes, Marv got his start as a special teams coach but he didn't jump straight to a head coaching position from there. He held other positions/titles in between those two gigs. Can you name a ST coach who jumped straight to a HC?? I didn't think so...it just doesn't happen that way.
Unconfirmed reports are stating that 'Dick Road' will be renamed 'Dicked Road' in honor of Bills fans everywhere. Stay tuned to WGR as this situation develops...back to you at TSW.
I'm not sure...he's an EFA, so he's not going anywhere. For whatever reason, Peters and his agent have decided to engage the Bills in a high stakes game of "chicken". The Bills hold all the leverage...Peters will blink first, IMHO.
1) The Bills draft 8th...thanks, St. Loius.
2) Nice to know that the Travis Henry trade worked out about as well as could be expected...very high 3rd Rounder!
3) How pathetic is it that the Bills LOST to three of the seven teams drafting AHEAD of them?!
Not to worry. He still has "the longest running sports talk show on cable TV". Uhhhhhhhhhh, oh yeah...on second thought, never mind.
R.I.P., Empire and PM's career.
They're just venting at the defection of a good player from their team...seems many on this very board are quick to say so and so sucks when they leave the Bills. Get over it, it's no big deal. I'm sure the victory was sweet in an otherwise dismal season for TKO.
If so, then he'd be wise to remember the old axiom:
"You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which fills up faster."
At the time he left Cincy they were in shambles. Hindsight is 20/20.
