What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
BearNorth replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills hosting Jets in the Rockpile 12/8/63. Field was a mosh pit, mud and standing water on the field. Cookie runs for pro football record 243 yards on 36! carries and FIVE TD's. Bills win 45-14 and Jets consolation prize is Joe Willie Namath. -
The Battle for Jobs at Safety and Corner.

Be interesting what the addition of Hairston does to the defense. 4.28 are some serious wheels, wonder if him being there will inspire others to take their speed training seriously. -
Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster
BearNorth replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
PFF Has Lewis as the 2nd worst safety in receptions allowed, 49 completions in 390 coverage snaps, 95.8 passer rating against. Seems like OC's like to pick on him when he's on the field. 40th percentile of safeties. -
Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
BearNorth replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pro Football reference ranks the Bills DE's as Bruce [GOAT Bills D-Lineman], Schobel, Hughes, Hansen. Would be happy if he was the next Schobel or Hansen. -

Slightly bigger version of TJ Watt, similar RAS measurables. 6-6 with a 40.5 vertical, expect a lot of batted passes. -
Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster

We do play dime a fair amount, so need at least 6 pretty good DB's. They are the smallest guys on the team and take a bit of a beating esp with our run defense of late. -
Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster
BearNorth replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right now based on these projections, we have to replace about 13% of our offensive snaps, 23% of our defensive snaps, and a full 1/3 of our ST Snaps, plus we have a new ST Coordinator. Douglas, Hollins, & Q. Morris have the highest snap counts among the departures. -
Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky

I was at the "Music City Miracle" Would be nice for the Bills to have a worthy successor to Ted Washington and Pat Williams. That was a GREAT defense. -
2025 Official Bills Schedule Prediction & Breakdown
BearNorth replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
NY would be a traffic nightmare with the parade and a 1:00 game at the Meadowlands, If the Bills play on Thanksgiving it will be either 4:25 or Night. -
Of course if the Bills have locked up their seed [like 2024] and the week 18 game is at The Ralph, we could be sitting starters for the last game.

Having visited family at the Villages, GC accidents & fatalities/injuries are not uncommon.

Buffalo Bills Consensus Draft Grades
BearNorth replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yesterday Ryan Wilson of CBS gave the Bills a surprising A+ grade, praising the Hairston, Walker and Hawes Picks. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/ranking-each-teams-2025-nfl-draft-class-bills-raiders-49ers-come-up-aces-browns-bengals-raise-questions/ Maybe we are underrating this group. -
Aaron Donald will be a 1st Ballot HOF selection, 6'1" 280. Ed Oliver 6'1" 287.
-
Aaron Donald, same size and position as Ed lasted ten years in the league. Not saying Ed is comparable, but this is his 6th year, so one would think he has two more quality years left. Ed does need to get better in run defense where he grades out in the lower 3rd of the league, although McDermott limits his snaps in obvious run situations.
-
IMHO our weakest position group is safety, - amazing in two short years we go from a reliable Poyer & Hyde duo, to Question Mark and the Mysterians. In the past there have been late career corners have made the transition to Safety, but with Tre's injury issues and reputation as a poor tackler, I don't see that in the cards.
-
I imagine they will throw in the Eagles after their bye for good measure.
-
Like last year when Worthy was on the board and we traded the pick to our nemesis...

Right now I have us at 91 including reported UDFA and Minicamp invitees. Do we get an IPP waiver for the Canadian? -

Bills 5th Round Pick (#2) : Jackson Hawes - TE - Georgia Tech
BearNorth replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
We basically have 4 on the roster if you count Gilliam, 3rd & 4th TE will be core special teamers. -
Bills 5th Round Pick (#2) : Jackson Hawes - TE - Georgia Tech
BearNorth replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hawes is clearly a smart guy, and has a reputation as a nasty blocker. Perhaps Bills version of Ingold or Jusczyk? -
