  1. The locations usually change practice to practice and are announced shortly before they are available. At least that's how they have done it the past few years. The same chains (like Verizon for example), but different stores.
  2. How long have you been a Bills fan?
  3. Helpful hint for those wanting multiple tickets. I think the limit is 4 per person per visit where you pick them up. So my wife took all the kids that were home with her and they went in individually and got 4 each. Then went to another store and did the same. repeated as necessary for all tickets needed for all practices desired. Yeah, we supplied a few out of town people for a few years
  4. Tickets are required for night and weekend practices only, just for what you said, overcrowding. They are free, but can be a bit of a pain to get. In the past, my wife has gotten some for us and I asked her to get extras for TBD people and either mailed them, or they met me somewhere for a handoff. But we have no plans on going this year so she won't be getting any. http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com/assets/pdf/2018-Training-Camp-Schedule.pdf
  5. According to the Bills camp website, they still do have the tent.
  6. Get there early and catch them coming out onto the field. Some will go to the fence at the end of practice, again near where they go into the building. They used to post a schedule of the 3 players per day that were going to be in the kids autograph tent after practice. My kids used to look at the schedule and figure out which days they wanted to go. However I heard a rumor they don't have the tent anymore. The players do tend to go towards the hot women at the fence, so camp out by a group of them if you can.
  7. 6.5 is a number that keeps my money in my pocket. QB is a complete unknown. The O-Line is suspect at the very least. The Bills could go 10-6 if the cards fall right for them like they did last year, or just as easily 4-12. Too volatile for me at the moment. To quote the old movie wargames, the only winning move is not to play.
  8. I'm glad I wasn't. Regardless if it was due to CTE, roids, or something completely unrelated to football, it is sad to watch someone going through it.
  9. Or, play commercials during the anthem. The "controversy" fades away like you said, and they make money at the same time. Win-win.
  10. I thought this thread might be about his wife
  11. The AFC was weak enough this past season that a season record that they have had before, which was not close to making the playoffs those times, qualified them for a wildcard this time. It was not a better season record than they have had before, but as luck would have it, it allowed them to end the drought this particular time. They did seem to get more calls going their way this past season than in previous years, but that's not the luck I was referring to.
  12. Exactly, I suspect all physical print media is hurting. I know my company doesn't run any ads or coupons in physical print any more, it's all digital now. And reading online is easier, faster, and doesn't kill any trees. I'm a little surprised any physical newspapers still exist.
  13. Luck. They have had that same season record before during the drought. Just got lucky and backed into the playoffs this time.
  14. Not really. At least Russ had a lot of experience as a president of a team in a sport much bigger than hockey in the US before becoming president of the Sabres.
  15. Well, technically, still ...
  16. So what he is saying is that most of the ones that towed the management line and/or were not critical of the pick by definition are the ones that do know a lot about football? Pontificate much Vic? I don't follow college football at all, so all I know about that pick is I'm glad it only cost two 2nd's to move up. Seems like good value for a QB they coveted. So I guess that means I know a lot about football, who knew!
  17. We'll know in a few years. But the Bills got the QB they wanted and it only cost them two 2nd's. I think overall that's pretty good value. Going in I was afraid they would give up the entire draft for someone. So at the end of the day, I'm good with what happened.
  18. Based on their past drafting history, those teams passing is probably an endorsement *to* take him
  19. Based on how I watch the games, having every game but 1 be Sunday at 1:00 is absolutely perfect!
  20. Unless the networks zoom the cameras in more, I didn't get any closer I enjoy watching the games with my family. I record the games and we watch over dinner without commercials. As the kids all get older, everyone eating dinner at the same time is getting rare. Love those Sunday dinners Every game is at 1 as well this season except MNF which is fantastic!
  21. The Bills backed into the playoffs last year with TT. So I don't see why they couldn't do that again.
  22. Believe it or not, the sun will still rise the next day. It's an Fing game.
  23. I don't. I may tune in for the Bills first pick if I am home and nothing else is going on.
