They are one dimensional when it makes sense, like tonight. Jones threw twice. Just out coached. -

Out coached, but not exactly a surprise. -
Complete and total stupidity on the part of the NFL. Every other profession, if you choose to not get vaccinated and cannot do your job because of it, you do not get paid. Should be no different for the NFL. IMO players can choose if they want to get vaccinated or not, so long as they are honest about it (yeah, you Aaron Rogers) and accept the consequences of their decision. Not playing due to covid after not getting vaccinated should, IMO, mean you don't get paid.

I agree with you, but that's not clarity. That's stating where the Bills need to improve. You are very clear on where they are or else you would not have been spot on with your statements
-
Agreed, 2nd string (at best) QB, and top 2 RBs out and the Aint's had no chance to score at all. Even if just Kamara was healthy he is such a beast they would have had at least a chance. That game was little more than a formality (albeit a costly one depending upon White's diagnosis). But they are 11 games into their season. How much more clarity are you looking for? We know by now (barring injuries/covid) what they are, and what they are not.

Welllllllll ... actually did you? What do they cost to rent I wonder? I hear that, I prefer to tailgate in my family room

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?

I feel bad for all the Bills fans that took the time and money to travel to that ... whatever it was. -
I don't care who it is, that's a lot of freaking points to give man.

Privacy for Josh Allen and Bills' players
CodeMonkey replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's in the job description for a entertainment job that is the face of of a sports franchise that pays $5.3 mil for a 17 week regular season. People don't gotta, but they can if they feel the need. If it wasn't for those kind of people, he wouldn't be getting paid anywhere near that much money to play a game. Dealing with fans when he'd rather be spending quality time with his girl is part of it. I'd take that trade in a heartbeat. Even with his girl. -

Boo hoo multimillionaires who get paid for playing a game are asked for a picture or an autograph. I wouldn't bother him because WTF would I do with a picture or an autograph. But I understand people with young kids who might want that. If it gets to be "too much" he can afford a few other houses around the world, and/or take his ridiculously hot GF to a couple grand a day private island and chill. Loss of privacy, give me a break. It comes with the job. There is absolutely zero value to what he does for a living outside of entertainment of the public. -
Love him for losing a winnable game? But coaches need brains and guts, not just guts.

Cupcake season to be sure. But beating the JV teams and losing 2 out of 3 to the decent teams so far is not a good sign. Only 1/3 of the way into the season so we'll see.

McDermott Has Evolved: He actually has not. He still makes bad in game decisions like the final play.

A few thoughts about the Titans game, in no particular order
CodeMonkey replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Overall agree completely. Just disagree on 2 things: Best Shot: I agree the Titans played their hearts out, but "we got the Titan's absolute best game" with the injuries they had on the defensive side of the ball simply is not possible IMO. The Play: "I don't blame McD for going for it and understand why." I do. He is supposed to know better, and the topper was the play call as you mentioned. But, Josh yells to the sideline to go for it every 4th down less than 5 yards it seems. Maybe he will learn a valuable lesson from yesterday. All in all it was a fun game to watch and the Bills showed well. Just need to improve more in both play and in-game coaching decisions before they will be bringing home the big prize. And, Henry is a freak ... period -
Happens here too, even for wins.

The Bills are officially the betting favorites to win the Superbowl
CodeMonkey replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. After the titans 4 more JV teams (fish, jags, jets, colts). Not sure I like this creampuff (as it turned out) schedule. But I was real happy to see how the Bills played on both sides of the ball last night against the chiefs. The chiefs now at 2-3 obviously aren't what they were the past few years, but still a decent team that was home. -

Now we see what this years Bills team is. Lost to a mediocre steelers team week 1 and crushed 3 JV teams since. Time to see if they are contenders or pretenders. I honestly don't know which a this point.

Does anybody go to the stadium just to tailgate?
CodeMonkey replied to r00tabaga's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are many who feel the same as you do. My wife is one. She loves the "event" and being inside the stadium whereas I prefer comfort and a better view of the game. There were games with not great weather she was at that when she eventually made it home she commented how I was the smarter of us, as I served her the leftover chili, wings, pizza etc while she warmed up and dried off I do miss the atmosphere and people of the pinto tailgate though. Edit: Today was another one -

Yeah a OTA antenna would certainly be easier, and I agree that the picture is great that way, better than my cable, and the audio is DD 5.1. You pick the game with the NFL package or redzone with a dish though First world decisions huh Yes ... yes it does
