I'd love a downtown stadium but not because it would be any "economic benefit" to the downtown area. However, something akin to Patriot Place in OP or another suburb would also be great.

In my mind, the aftermath of getting caught cheating is too detrimental to ever make it worth it. Reasonable people can debate whether or not it made a difference or how much of a difference the cheating made. In the NFL, however, the difference between winning and losing is so small that the cheating will always leave a doubt. It's impossible to say that videotaping and deflating balls didn't make an impact. It's also reasonable to infer the possibility that the Pats have been doing other things that are cheating that could have had an impact. Once you get to that place, it's easy to doubt the validity of those titles, even if nothing can be proved. In my mind, that makes winning a title less appealing that losing one.

Absolutely, 100% agree. I wouldn't ok if the Bills cheated to win. It would be such a punch in the gut and frankly I'd probably stop following the Bills for a while. It's sad how much standards have deteriorated in this country. Cheating is never ok and defeats the entire purpose of playing the game.

I think 8 games to a season is the appropriate penalty. This is egregious. Deliberately cheating and going to the lengths that he went to needs to be punished severely. Not too mention that guys can get season long bans (Josh Gordon) for smoking dope.

The "best player available" strategy doesn't really hold water when you're talking about players and positions when the difference between one guy and another is negligible and highly debatable. That BPA really means situations like reaching for a QB when a very good lineman is still there. Not taking a backup RB when the team needs Oline and Dline depth.

Not going to pretend to know anything about this guy, but why draft a RB that gets maybe a few carries this year when we have other pressing needs. I don't see the logic.

Who cares about the Pats. The draft isn't what makes them good. That's all mystique and no substance. There are two reasons the Pats have been good, brady and belichek. That's it.

I could def see something happening between those team, but I think philly needs to give up more. At least next years number one as well. Giving up two mid first round picks and two players isn't a lot to move up to 2 overall. I also think Cleveland needs to give up less. Maybe a second at most? Right teams - wrong compensation. Just one mans humble opinion Plus, wouldn't it be hilarious if that trade happened pre draft and then TB picks Mariota? Many people would say that would be great for philly because they'd get Winston, but everyone knows Chip wants Marcus. That's how this works.

I don't think people question her qualifications. Rather I think most people are sick of having PC BS shoved down our throats by a progressive media and the twittersphere. The vast, overwhelming majority of people have not problem with diversity or equality. In fact most people are so past it that raising the issue comes across as forcing an agenda rather than actually living in a country that has more equality and opportunity than any on the planet or in history (thankfully) To your last point. I think most people don't care. And that's fantastic. They don't care because it's not an issue. Except for the activists which only care because their livelihoods depend on it, which is obviously very irritating to the rest of the public.
