  1. I'll tell you then! More to the point, I thought DaRick was a better risk/reward option and that Hogan would never really so much. DaRick is out of the league and Hogan had a really nice game. I was wrong.
  2. Not true. I was in the Pick TheRick camp but relented after this week. Now I'm Team Hogan. He makes tough plays like that and its a valuable role to play.
  3. Barely? Oh! You mean we round up or down and Orton is 1.6 - 1.4.
  4. certain issues on this board get people dug in positions like religious or political issues. Sometimes it's better just to admit that your original opinion (Orton sucks) is wrong. I'll start: Hello, my name is Dubs, and I was an idiot for wanting DaRick Rogers instead of Chris Hogan.
  5. The Mob is Fickle, as they say. Just keep in mind that many of the same people criticizing Orton are the same folks that wanted to give Jeff Tuel the start. As it stands, Orton is the best QB we've had here since the beginning of the Bledsoe era and maybe the Flutie days. It's not a high bar, but it's the truth.
  6. I apologize. I was on team TheRick.
  7. Every game doesn't have to be an indicator of future outcomes. Sometimes you just gotta take a deep breath, smile, and know you've lived to fight another day.
  8. Hah. Really?? Our offense has 4 turnovers and minny has 16 total points. wouldn't say the defense is the issue or that TB looks close to an all pro.
  9. Sucks Bryce Brown is inactive.
  10. Yes. But from FIOS. Horrible.
  11. I second that motion. Please put clips together and post. I'd like to see them.
  12. Self-rightous back rubbers who honestly say that "good teams overcome bad officiating" just simply don't understand football. Can it happen, sure? Does it happen, of course. But this is a league where the difference between teams is so small. Penalties that give teams extra sets of downs, tons or yards, or minus tons of yards have an enormous impact on the game. When it happens continuously, it's almost impossible to overcome.
  13. Hahaha. Now that is funny! Nice work!
  14. Was just responding to another poster bringing EJ into the discussion and Orton's 'wildly inaccurate' throw to Sammy that resulted in the game winning field goal
  15. Must have missed the part where the OP said Orton was HOF bound or even a top QB in the league. Thought OP simply meant he's clearly better than EJ, which is plainly obvious.
  16. How about...BOTH the QB AND the play calling are atrocious. it's pathetic really. Losing faith very quickly.
  17. If EJ showed any signs of promise, I'd say keep him in. But maybe he needs time to sit and watch a pro QB. Orton is not a pro bowler, but he's capable of winning. EJ is just a complete disaster at this point. I have no confidence anymore.
  18. Haha!!! Who's pound of flesh can we grab from this incident.
  19. Rob, very well said. I truly wish most people had that kind of level-headed response to things. I couldn't agree with what you said anymore than I do and it's a relief to know there are still sane, grounded people out there.
  20. If we put twitter at the bottom of a cliff do you think the mob would walk right off it? It's worth a shot!
  21. I can't wait for the next thing to get outraged about!! I just bought a new pitchfork and a refurbished torch. I'm thinking around next Monday, once everyone feels self righteous enough and did nothing to actually change anything, it'll be time to get really upset about something else. Can't wait!!!
  22. I still call it Rich Stadium, so Paychex Field would be a nice change of pace.
