  1. 2015 - The Year of the Hot Take, Literally (and overuse of the word literally)
  2. What is going on with this board? - Roman's O concerns me. Too vanilla - Mario didn't show up - Watkins couldn't get open - Taylor was only taking short throws - McCoy was terrible - O line is still bad Did the Bills win, um, crush a Super Bowl contender yesterday? Did people watch the game? This is getting out of control. Just too many hot takes to handle
  3. Is this a topic from The Onion? Unreal! What kind of game would it take to not find some criticism? I bet if we beat the Pats 42-0 and injury Brady for the year there will still be topics about what people didn't like. SMH
  4. Hah. Nice!
  5. Unacceptable?? Haha. Um - scoreboard.
  6. Thankfully we are one day away from opinions and conjecture going away. I'll be so psyched when we talk about what happens on the field.
  7. Love these concept unis https://m2.behance.net/rendition/pm/833801/disp/2978d0a6cbf4bc6896e3a36c385174e0.jpg
  8. The only thing if choose over 1 super bowl win is more than one super bowl win
  9. i tend to agree with this statement. Everyone knows he cheated. It's common sense. All this did was the make him look like a spoiled little kid and a cheater.
  10. Well - I for one don't really care about the outcome or if Brady plays at all. For me - it's all about whether or not he cheated and IMO he obviously did. The second you cross that line, your accomplishments are diminished, IMO.
  11. Phew...less body bags. I am kidding - just taking an equally strong stance as I have seen some take on here. In reality, I think the coaches made a well thought out, well informed decision. I support what I've seen from the process and the outcomes. That doesn't mean they will ultimately be correct. TT could bomb. EJ could have been great this year. It's impossible to know. All we can do is hope these guys making the decisions used all available information and did what they think is best for the team. I am confident they did that.
  12. The worst part about TT getting the starting nod is that every time the Bills lose a game or Tyrod has a bad day, Jim Jones and his cult of EJ fanatics will be drinking cyanide and proclaiming that the Bills would be undefeated with EJ or something of a similarly ludicrous nature.
  13. Someone said it here already a few times and I tend to agree. I think Matt Cassell is the get through the game QB if Tyrod goes down. EJ is the starter for the next game given an opportunity for a full week of practice and game planning.
  14. That's the issue. Speaking for myself, I am not trying to be "right". Rather just commenting on your position that somehow EJ got screwed and Rex is either through malicious intent or being flat out blinded by his ego that he's behind the screwing.
  15. I am not being flip, I really don't know where you are coming from with Rex. Does everyone that has an ego make bad decisions? Is being decisive about who you think the best player will be a bad thing? Is it a distraction to have backups with potential on the team? Again, I LIKE EJ and hope he continues his improvement. I have not seen anything that makes me think there is something nefarious going on. In fact, I think the Bills went out of there way to give each guy more than enough chances in pre-season. If anyone has a complaint with that it's MC. He got virtually no work.
  16. Are you serious with this hot take? It's really not that complicated. For many reasons, beyond 3 pre-season games, Taylor won the job. For many reasons, beyond 3 pre-season games, the coaches feel comfortable with Matt Cassell as the primary backup. Probably because they feel he can come in the game in a pinch without any preparation and handle that better than EJ. For many reasons, FAR beyond 3 pre-season games, EJ is going to be third string. Look, I like EJ too, but he's not getting screwed. Believe it or not Rex, Whaley, and the rest of the staff have a much larger vested interest in the success of the team that you do. They wouldn't stash a star QB because they didn't like him.
  17. Looks like this is the rule: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/07/22/nfl-drops-third-quarterback-rule-46-active-players-on-game-day/ Teams no longer have the emergency 3rd QB. Instead rosters were expanded from 45 to 46. So in reality they can have EJ (or whoever the third QB is) not dress. *sarcasm on* Which is perfect because we can have a kickoff specialist or 5th TE or 2nd FB dress instead. *sarcasm off* huh?
  18. I honestly don't know. It rarely comes into play so it could be gone now.
  19. Can't they dress an "emergency" 3rd QB and he can only go in the game if the other two are hurt? Maybe that's an old rule that got changed.
  20. That's what we're hoping but can he/she really change???
  21. Meaning - EJ has all the physical tools (super hot) so we drafted him thinking the other stuff will come around (immaturity, craziness, whatever). It's started ok, exciting win vs Carolina and Baltimore then the real EJ came out (yelling at you, not wanting you to see your friends, etc) so he gets benched (you break up). In the offseason EJ vows to get back his job, he's still got that cannon arm (she's still hot) so he's gets his job back. Not too long after we remember why he was benched and he gets benched again for Orton (you took her back because she's hot and then she goes nuts again, yelling at you in front of your friends and making your life miserable - so you move on a date someone else briefly). Are we going to get sucked back into that cycle again?
  22. Nice post. This is pretty much how I feel. I don't really care about any of these guys personally. Whoever gets the call I want to light it up. EJ just feels like the insane girlfriend you keep going back to cause she's hot and you convince yourself she can control her craziness. Never ends well.
  23. I'll be pulling for whoever they select, but I think Taylor is the best choice by a mile. He just seems so much more comfortable and decisive. EJ has looked good, but he still makes me nervous every time he drops back. Maybe it's PTSD from the last two years. In any case, I think against complex defensive schemes, defensive game plans, and a full cast of defensive starters, EJ gets overwhelmed. Taylor may also but he certainly looks very in control every time he drops back. TT MC EJ MS
  24. Who is EJ? Does he play for the bills?
  25. Before I comment on the line I need to know if Da'Rick Rogers will be going. If so, hammer the Colts minus the points.
