Battle for the Division: Bill and Pats remaining games poll.
boyst replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
right now we matchup too well against Phili to call that a loss. i tihnk we win it. i think we beat the Bucs. i think we fall to Houston - that's a staunch defense. the patriots won't lose to both the Ravens and Bills, but could lose to 1. they may get the Yankees fear playing the Ravens and be scared of them but that doesn't mean they should lose. they could also suffer a slump because they peaked awful early and drop one to the the Jets or someone they shouldn't. -
happy veterans day *this is not me. IT'S MARV LEVY.

this is all that is needed. we ran into a stacked box and created absolutely no offense to get the dolphins out of it despite them using a #3CB, a #4CB, a basically practice squad nickel, a #3 safety, and #5 LB, and trading away Jaylen Phillips. seriously that defense Miami put out had little to no talent and stopped us entirely by scheme. it was horrific. it was a travesty.

Do you think the Chiefs would beat the Patriots as a 7th seed?
boyst replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who are the Patriots going to lose to? Who are the Bills going to beat? On top of that in the division the Patriots are better than us. We're about to face the buccaneers who aren't perfect, and then a short week against the number one defense in the nfl. Houston could be a bloodbath -
Fantasy my matchup has Barkley. Put him up 1.5 pts with that pas catch and run... Thankfully Smith for me just sealed the deal and I'll win I beat a 7 yr old!!!!

This came up at work today. The Chiefs can beat anyone in the playoffs. McDaniel would be good, but Reid & Spagnola would outwork them. The Patriots sparked too early. They're not supposed flash until next year and they're a little premature. Chiefs@Patriots for the AFCC. Book it. -
Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field
boyst replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think there were several people that wanted to double dip early on wide receiver. It was absolutely no reason not to. I don't know that worthy would have been the best fit for our offense, in McConkey is a slot guy would have taken reps from Shakir. But having both of those two on this team over Coleman would be a vat improvement I was thinking more like getting Troy Franklin later, and even ad Mitchell at some point since he fell so far -

I'm so glad we got that guy with the dandruff or skin or scabies or something that finally saw the field and got a boo boo instead. Rejoice everyone! -
Interesting thought here for everyone... Everyone feel free... McDermott and Daboll both get fired today, who is the first to get a HC gig? Gotta be mcdermott right? Daboll will get an OC gig anywhere. I'm not sure McDermott would get many chances at even a college DC, and that's not a put-down
-
what?! i wanna see that...??? i think he will get another shot at being an OC and continue to do well at the least, maybe even cusp of great. there are no really great oc's in the nfl right now. they're all HC's.
-
he's had more success than marrone, though. and he could go to college and be top 3 coordinator immediately.
-
this is what sucks. the threshold of good OC's is so low that he will still be an OC even if you think he stinks or he isn't perfect.
-
This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators
boyst replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
that Josh McDaniel skated so easily back to NE was amazing. that no one thought to try to get him anywhere - i wanted him here so bad. if Mike McDaniel was not a complete douchenozzle i would like him here, too. -
Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
boyst replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
those TE's were all compliments to their team. Gonzalez never won a ring. Kelce won rings when he had great supporting casts with defense and other targets. same with Gronk. this league isn't like it was just 5 years ago either. defenses are fast and light enough to cover TE's unlike the double headed snake of Hernandez and Gronk or even Antonion GAtes. -
that's why i said Seifert, too.
-
that's a good idea! Mara.... Mora... Seifert HC Dabol OC Jim Mora DC
-
winning fixes a lot of attitudes. to say he won't be an OC again is insane. he has high standards, he's rough around the edges, and he isn't going to be anyones friend...

So let me see if I can do this with voice to text on a windy day. Out of my afternoon walk... So part of the reason of the fallout with McDermott goes all the way back to Rick Dennison coaching the offense when he insisted on putting Nathan Peterman in after the bills were struggling on offense. The players were against this because they practice with Peterman every day and new he was not better than Taylor. They were upset with this but still let it Go on because it was going to be the Chargers game. At halftime players were texting people about how pissed off they were and then find out that Peterman will start the second half in McDermott did not have the balls to stop at Denison. Fast forward to firing Denison and getting dabol. He was part of the McDermott process. Accountability. Brian dabol held players accountable and was very tough. After 13 seconds when Gable was in that whole mix he saw Sean take the play calling of the defense and do it himself from Frasier. Not only that the offense had done their part. The defense was more aligned with Frasier than they were mcdermott, at least some of the glue guys in most specifically Jerry Hughes. McDermott shows to fire the special teams coordinator after he had said to kick a squib and the special teams coordinator did not get that information to the whole team including Tyler. There were nearly brawls in the locker room after this. The defense let down the offense, a theme that would recur the next year as Frazier continued to be the defensive coordinator which was nothing more than an intermediary to McDermott's defense. During that time McDermott hired Ken Dorsey to replace Dabol. The bills were struggling on offense and there was that players only meeting that supposedly happened but never confirmed. Well I can confirm it. The players met and the leaders from that meeting went to McDermott and asked to have Dorsey removed. They didn't get their wish. McDermott did nothing, as evidence by their lack of faith and effort put in against the Broncos on that miserable loss. The next day McDermott realized his hands were tied and he had to do something. Overtime the theme continues as McDermott gets guys that only trust his process, toe the line, and those that don't get moved. You'll end up with that Tyler dunne article which was 100% right And now the naysayers will claim the players admitted they won for coach. Yes, those are the guys he wants, the guys who buy into his program but too often we've seen he doesn't have the judgment, ability nor respect that he needs. You can't tell McD *****
-
Also will add that if we got Belichick as a head coach I would hope he finds the bright offensive mind under him and not just able and there is a true succession plan that does not include dabol as head coach. I don't think he has the temperament for it, which would mean we get a defensive head coach, which puts us behind the rest of the league with the offensive shift
-
Josh needs a guy not afraid of him. Daboll ain't. That ego of his won't back down to anyone. A blessing and a curse.

Belichick as HC, Daboll as OC

He has no interest in working with mcdermott. The two of them were oil and water.

This guy is destined to be in offensive coordinator the rest of his career, and he will crush everybody.
