This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators
boyst replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
that Josh McDaniel skated so easily back to NE was amazing. that no one thought to try to get him anywhere - i wanted him here so bad. if Mike McDaniel was not a complete douchenozzle i would like him here, too. -
Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
boyst replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
those TE's were all compliments to their team. Gonzalez never won a ring. Kelce won rings when he had great supporting casts with defense and other targets. same with Gronk. this league isn't like it was just 5 years ago either. defenses are fast and light enough to cover TE's unlike the double headed snake of Hernandez and Gronk or even Antonion GAtes. -
that's why i said Seifert, too.
-
that's a good idea! Mara.... Mora... Seifert HC Dabol OC Jim Mora DC
-
winning fixes a lot of attitudes. to say he won't be an OC again is insane. he has high standards, he's rough around the edges, and he isn't going to be anyones friend...

So let me see if I can do this with voice to text on a windy day. Out of my afternoon walk... So part of the reason of the fallout with McDermott goes all the way back to Rick Dennison coaching the offense when he insisted on putting Nathan Peterman in after the bills were struggling on offense. The players were against this because they practice with Peterman every day and new he was not better than Taylor. They were upset with this but still let it Go on because it was going to be the Chargers game. At halftime players were texting people about how pissed off they were and then find out that Peterman will start the second half in McDermott did not have the balls to stop at Denison. Fast forward to firing Denison and getting dabol. He was part of the McDermott process. Accountability. Brian dabol held players accountable and was very tough. After 13 seconds when Gable was in that whole mix he saw Sean take the play calling of the defense and do it himself from Frasier. Not only that the offense had done their part. The defense was more aligned with Frasier than they were mcdermott, at least some of the glue guys in most specifically Jerry Hughes. McDermott shows to fire the special teams coordinator after he had said to kick a squib and the special teams coordinator did not get that information to the whole team including Tyler. There were nearly brawls in the locker room after this. The defense let down the offense, a theme that would recur the next year as Frazier continued to be the defensive coordinator which was nothing more than an intermediary to McDermott's defense. During that time McDermott hired Ken Dorsey to replace Dabol. The bills were struggling on offense and there was that players only meeting that supposedly happened but never confirmed. Well I can confirm it. The players met and the leaders from that meeting went to McDermott and asked to have Dorsey removed. They didn't get their wish. McDermott did nothing, as evidence by their lack of faith and effort put in against the Broncos on that miserable loss. The next day McDermott realized his hands were tied and he had to do something. Overtime the theme continues as McDermott gets guys that only trust his process, toe the line, and those that don't get moved. You'll end up with that Tyler dunne article which was 100% right And now the naysayers will claim the players admitted they won for coach. Yes, those are the guys he wants, the guys who buy into his program but too often we've seen he doesn't have the judgment, ability nor respect that he needs. You can't tell McD *****

Also will add that if we got Belichick as a head coach I would hope he finds the bright offensive mind under him and not just able and there is a true succession plan that does not include dabol as head coach. I don't think he has the temperament for it, which would mean we get a defensive head coach, which puts us behind the rest of the league with the offensive shift

Josh needs a guy not afraid of him. Daboll ain't. That ego of his won't back down to anyone. A blessing and a curse.

Belichick as HC, Daboll as OC

He has no interest in working with mcdermott. The two of them were oil and water.

This guy is destined to be in offensive coordinator the rest of his career, and he will crush everybody.

Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
boyst replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dalton Kincaid went before our draft spot. We traded up to get him. Again logic is something you must not understand because we clearly could have traded up a few more and got jsn who was just a few pics before, or flowers, a few pics before -

On teams that have other needs addressed sure. In some cases sure. But the 2023 Buffalo Bills did not need a luxury tight end as much as they needed a wide receiver or anyone to get down field and catch it. He doesn't run routes well, catch catch like a WR, and isn't fast enough Otherwise he would be a tight end. -

what was miami's excuse? they were on the 4th string nickel, missing 2 CB's, douglas was CB3 and limited. they had no chop, had just traded jaylen phillips, their OL is missing two guys on IR. starting safety on IR. their depth is just missing. their all pro wr is out. waddle is banged up. ollie gordon banged up. waller was out. in a 10,000' view it is obvious the Bills are injured. the whole damn league is injured. and the basic 4-3 defense of the dolphins on dpeth players just hurt us bad... -

And how many didn't make the hof or an impact? How many other needs did this team have that were more important? Cmon this is a bad argument you're not good at lol Seriously. Flabbergasted. To defend your logic here it's simply taking every other player to exist that was dragged and amazing or HOF. Lol -

I have held back on this fairly well but I will never forgive this pick. He is a good TE and he adds talent to this team. He gets banged up easily and isn't available when we need him. Beyond that he was a wasted pick. We moved up to get him when we had Knox and had other opportunities to get a TE. We needed more than a TE at the time. Trading up for him was a mistake. Drafting him was a mistake. If we needed weapons for Allen, which we clearly needed and knew we did, we should have went further up to get a WR for the future. Zay Flowers or JSN weren't that far out of reach. Even Quentin Jefferson was a reasonable target. Tight Ends aren't legitimate pass catchers. Drafting Kincaid was a luxury pick this team could not afford. It will forever be a mistake even if he makes the HOF. -
ya'll interested in an industrial fan company? lol we could use some help.
-
this team has no edge. it's a child safety scissors. it's great we are good people and have high character guys on our team.
-
Hard knocks just showed our team is cupcake soft and no one has any balls on their team to light this stuff up. it's so cute how we like cookies and ice cream, or go drive ricers really fast, or like horsies.

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
boyst replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh, you know... those beloved Patriots who nearly moved to Hartford and were EXTREMELY close to moving to St Loius because their fanbase was so dismal. (For those that do not know in the mid 90's the Patriots were on the verge of going to St Louis after talks stalled to go to Hartford, Conn. Forgive me if I do not believe the fanbase is at all serious about their dedication or anything more than bandwagon. it is the cherry on top that the resident troll Patriots fan has no one else to talk to about his team because there are actually so few that he has to come sniffing around here just to have someone to talk football with... -
Well without a mouth you'd suffocate.

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread
boyst replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is over an hour delay at Buffalo Niagara. I don't see the info on the bills return flight. -
I mean, it's amazing to me that reports never came out about how bad it was with Whaley and Ryan. Rex and his brother drinking all night before games. Whaley getting drunk and more and causing fights at away games over women. These guys are not scouts compared to the past regimes. They're just not better at footballing, either.
-
Bills missing their starting TE, an elite all too WR, I think reports were achane has been dinged up, they were missing an OL (forgot who), missing a really good LB, lots of injuries on that roster. Like, they are more injured than the Bills by a lot and just traded some good talent to boot.
-
The Dolphins were without their starting CBs which ... Douglas is not truly a #1. The bills faced a ton of backups.
