i have a ruptured L5-S1 (disc space is 7mm) with weakness in my right foot causing lack of dorsiflexion, L4-L5 (10mm). the bulge at l5-s1 is 4 years now iwth positive feedback from nerve conduction study and going to get a microdiscectomy in the next few months. i have a few other bulges, but the L5-S1 has caused a lot of problems but i keep pushing on running a 5k a day and lifting/working out 90 min a day pretty intensely. i had no benefit from epidurals to the back. lidocaine injections to diagnose how severe the pain was for the hips and back were amazing, i felt 16 again. i highly recommend hyaluronic acid for the knees and PRP for the hips. in hte last year science has found new stem cells which help repair the discs so that is something i look forward to finding available in 10-15 years when i'll be pushing 60.

out of curiosity what was done/needed? i'm having knee issues now. i'll need both knees replaced in the next 10-12 years. hips, too.

One of the NFL radios guys was praising San Francisco year after year for having numerous injuries and still putting up a fight every week. It got me thinking how poorly the bills do when they start to get punched around a little bit or dinged up. My wife said it last year watching a game with me, one of the few times she sat down to watch more than 5 minutes.
