Another school shooting - Texas
boyst replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Weapons that kill people? Please define and explain how weapons kill people. Mental health. We are not doing enough to work with a broken down and corrupt organization - my opinion of course. But, mental health is clearly an issue. Look at how many troons have committed these school shootings of recent, for example. What mentally fit, normal minded, average teenager is willing to kill someone? Do you think someone who is mentally of sound mind can, in cold blood kill someone? Yes, I think anyone can see our systems for the children of this country are fairly broken when we took them out of school for 2 years for a flu, don't regularly report crime amongst teenagers for fear it will deter growth and KPI's for communities, and our school systems have been falling lower and lower on scoring every few years. But, hey, thank God we got that Dept. Of Education in DC! Every country faces these challenges? They do? News on me. Other than the Muslim girls who cant even go to school because their pig fornicating men say it's not needed. Other than in many parts of Asia where children build your iPhone to help support their family. Other than Japan where kids just an hero when they face a crisis. Other than ... Well, hmm... Sounds like the world is a lot more complex than just a gun and your first world problems are kind of unique... But that could be a whole other discussion, huh? Maybe we are too soft on kids here, we lowered the bar a bit too much? Guns are easily accessible? sounds like it's the guns fault! So, your opinion here is just that. Opinion. Easily accessible? I guess, but they're not even the highest % of homicides. Knives are. Karmelo says "ey brah." The problem with this argument is you can make this claim and statistics will change the argument at every turn. While you're attempting to make a point it falls short. No, it's not misdirection. It's the hypocrisy on your part. And it's hyperbole and opinion on your behalf. Swifter, deadlier, more prevalent... The last my favorite. Knifes are like 30% iirc. Guns are less than 10%, and other objects about half. Deadlier, yes, 1.5% of the homicides in this country are awful. But the nearly 75% of assaults in this country make me more concerned about the overall problem. Mental health, crime & punishment, broken systems, and more. ...why are 1.5% of the problem? The 1.25% of crime which is gun related homicide... The 5.5 of 100k homicides by gun... Can we find correlation? Can we find any similarities? Can we dig deeper than just derp derp guns? -

Mental health is why it's happening. Poor educational systems are why it's happening. This is making more news for "injuries" than the cross town news of the kid in Frisco who stabbed and killed a kid over a cell phone. The kid who did it, Karmelo, now has his family a new house, $500k... The kid who died? A twin brother who held him as he died, lots of questions, and a perp who is saying self defense who went into the tent to attack and agress the group. So, yeah, guns are the problem. Or maybe it's just that people don't want to actually, you know, look for a root cause because they can't do so. Whoever you are, you're not winning. God the stench of basement dweller down here with all you newbies is awful. -
I am 6' 1 ½". At my tallest I was 6'3" For most of my life I was 6'2 ⅜". If you ask me now I'm 6'2". I shrunk. I don't think about it. Bad posture aside, this is the gotcha you think it is? *****, my brother was just under 6'2 and a tree fell on him and now he's barely over 6'. People shrink with age and just like a lot of things in life, including age, a lot of people don't care. Most men I know barely even know their own age.

100% the guy sounds like trash. Perhaps humanity is better off without him. It's not my call, don't know whose it is. At the same time it is concerning because a friend and loved one was lost to many. I can't imagine what his sister is going through, I just can't. This whole situation sucks but each part of his actions were choices he made. I hate that for him.

The guy has passed away. Any debt he owed in life is now gone. His family is left without a brother, son, father, friend and more. It is tragic he chose to end his life instead of of atone for his mistakes and overcome his demons. This isn't justice for the family of the man struck and killed and this isn't justice for the life of Karen Lacy. Both were given the gift of life.

This girl like so many has their entire identity online to their choosing. There is no privacy on the streets of the Internet. Anyone, anything, and anywhere is 100% always open for anything. Edit: this isn't victim blaming. She isn't the victim of him. He merely reported on a story in the news that was a major headline no different than anyone else.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
boyst replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude I was there. I was at that game. I actually went twice. -
I don't like the Bills pick here. Tired of the NFL trying so hard to make that wannabe school relevant when they're all terrible people and suck.

The censored last name is Bike but with a D instead of B. I hope we draft him just to f with the word filter.

Bills player mentioned on a Joe Rogan podcast with Ron White.

I have heard horror stories of Ayahuasca. A friend regularlymgoes because it benefits him. But he has told stories of bad bad things. He's an elite level mountain climber former special forces. The guy has a fierce chill calmness that I've never seen. He has ice in his veins and a sheer willpower beyond anyone else I've ever met. Ayahuasca to him takes him to a plane of complete peace. This is why I believe that he was elite for the SF (Seal and CIA detached) and climber. -
They're not really going to trademark the number either. The image of the number, art, etc. It's just not fun to be thinking like that.

Was there ever a sport you tried you weren’t good at?

I can't hit a ball to save my life. Everyone says focus on the ball and line up the bat. I can't see the damn ball. Tennis was also tough because my fat ass is like a big rig and needs a few extra lanes to turn around. -
Quick, someone blame CTE.

I somehow saw his film and thought Shakir.

Stick is eternal. Stick is carbon.

10". My money is on the stick. Marines break stick: Marines vs 2 sticks. Marines break stick again: Marines vs 4 sticks. Stick always wins.
-
100 US Marines vs a stick. Who wins?

100%. No offensive weapons?!? Wtf. I can stomach a blue chipper or high success probability defensive line player in round 2... But not all 3 of those picks. We have had ***** at defense for our picks for a while. The return on the top talent has not been there.

I would love to shape him to be the poyer big safety style/little linebacker that we thought Lewis Cine might become one day. It has its special place in our scheme even only used 15-20% of the time. A skillset like that with quality can be a great addition on dime packages against teams with 2 good TE's or the ability to shift into run.

How big of a prayer in your assessment? We talking hail Mary? We talking a few lines of the rosary? An our father? I think Bishop has potential to be a depth player and if anyone can get him to be more it is our secondary coaching since he seemed to lack awareness and discipline in the scheme vs bad athleticism. Granted, he didn't look speedy out there and lacked some spacial awareness, game time instincts, and the processing of the game - I still think he can be a quality backup a few years as a floor.

Name a random athlete and something you remember them by

Chester Taylor. Never talked, quiet dude, was like a feather and very shy/introverted. That random enough? -
Wants and would are two different words. I would welcome him, and I want him. But I would rather not overpay.

And a QB who listens to his pops more than you and would torpedo you to get his dad in place?
