  1. 28 is as good as 26 or 29. it'll be a buyers market that late and all about what you can offer in the 2nd.
  2. if I am Seattle I go get Burton on the line then trade back up for the right value to go grab Penix. I'd love to see the Steelers move backup and draft a QB as insurance. That'd be a crowded room but it makes sense because Wilson isn't going to be more than a 2 year player. A wrench in a lot of this is seeing Denver move back. I bet they do. The Cardinals are going to be moving all over, as well i don't know everything but i haven't read an opinion on him that doesn't include the slot.
  3. a WR at 28 is going to be the same tier as one there at 18-30 which isn't much different than one there at 35-45. The top 3 will be gone by 12 for sure - and there is a lot of debate who is between 4-8 is because after Odunze, MHJ, Nabers you drop off to have personal preferences of Mitchel, Thomas, McConkey, Franklin, Wilson, Burton....and then Pearsall in the slot. If we could drop back from 28 and pickup one of those guys and including Pearsall for the slot I would be stoked. I'd walk around having to adjust my pants all weekend if we traded back to get a pick next year and two WR's in the second.
  4. yeah, it'd be trading back from 28. i'm in the move up all in or trade back and build a war chest for '25 camp. one or the other. no need to stay at 28 because there will be no one at 28 who won't be there 35-45 that is special enough to make us move up. if we don't move at all: BPA all the way.
  5. i like both the move up for MHJ and the stay put and build cornerstones of our team approach. One is the Julio Jones move. The other is the Packers move. I am ok with either but if we only move up to draft random WR not names Marvin than I am out.
  6. 100%. This reminds me of so many great threads a dozen years ago with a few still here and a few who have left just bringing up these home run points over and over again. We doubled down on Poyer and Hyde with no plan to replace them, too.
  7. Ever since the preseason game at Carolina I've watched him on the sidelines. I think something changed midseason with him where he was just done and he quit on the team. There was a switch some time in week 10-11 that just showed he was "off." A million monkeys on a type writer and 1 can guess something right and back it up with some thinking. In this case the monkey was some bearded suntanned chub who found his Internet browser one day. I'm not impressed.
  8. No. Not at all. Players can talk to each other. A lot of this goes on before legal tampering can happen. He will always be better than Josh because he was supposed to be better than Josh in the draft. Josh will always be the last pumpkin from the patch who has his faultsnkind of guy. Houston has an uphill battle with tough games but not as much as you'd like. Home: Baltimore, Detroit, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Miami, Tennessee, Indy, Chicago, Away: Dallas, KC, GB, Minnesota, NYJ, NE, Indy, Jax, Ten Toss up on games against GB, Buffalo, NYJ, Jacksonville, Miami. Don't know what those teams will be like. Dallas they can beat. KC, Detroit, Baltimore are 3 losses. If they lose more than 5 games I'll be shocked. Isaiah McKenzie posted something stupid about hanging out again and the old crew never getting back together. Ther former WRs from 2020-2021 did as well Too rich for my blood. Let the BPA come to us. This and Millers contract were two of the most worstest moves he ever made. At least punk Miller have money back. Knox deserved to get paid but struggled.
  9. Hot mic would be known and open mic is just left on.
  10. she did not say that on hot mic. she said that in confidence to a reporter who picked it up on his open mic and the news channel let it be aired. it was a bushleague move by the reporter and his station. she did not know his mic was open, she did not know he would let it be aired and rebroadcast. she was 100% unaware and set up.
  11. that was an epic classless move by the news station to throw her under the bus like that. the reporter who did it got his ass chapped by other bills media guys and essentially blacklisted from the cool kids.
  12. Pat DiMarco going to run the deep route for us???
  13. i think everyone pushingthe Bills to move up would do it. i don't want them to move up.
  14. i'm calling it a retool. it's not a rebuild. our benchmarks are set. the cabinets and infastructre is there. they can trade back from the 1st and get 2 2's this year for a WR and an OL, with 3 picks in the 2nd or some other configuration.
  15. Almost need to restart this with the diggs trade
  16. Id still consider trading back. 🤯🤷🏼‍♂️
  17. A team that has this many needs doesn't need to go into 2025 with less picks and no 1st or 2nd. Don't move up. 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
  18. Like Plenz is helping me point out. Look how many of these guys didn't come in the first. Especially recently. A lot of guys look real good because their QB and college system. This is the NFL and the athleticism of the CB, as well as the skill set of defense has changed. Defenses are skilled now, not knockout types. They're shells of themselves playing flag football.
  19. I am not afraid to swing and miss. I just look back to 2014 and all of those surefire prospects that were: Landry Beckham Watkins Fat Benji Matthews Cooks Robinson Montcrief Bryant Only Evans and Adams were franchise WRs. So MHJ or bust to move up. Short of that, do your job and scout guys. Draft 2 or 3 mid round, don't reach.
  20. Should they package a trade that would include this years first, next year's first and second to pick in the top 8 for a WR?
  21. The more I sit here the more I am happy riding out the WR with a pick at 28. Draft OL, DL, LB, and S... Retool this year. Next year in a healthy cap, 2 picks inside 40, another at 55-65ish we can move up if we want or draft 2 more WRs and more firepower. Stay at 28. For the love of God.
  22. what you want is above. what you get is below.
