Lee Smith was on this team because he was a leader. He was a process guy that bought into McDermotts method 100%. It's a big reason he was brought back mid season. Hollins would lead by energy and words, diggs woild, too. Hughes was a leader of this team and would do like Diggs - approach the offense and defense to push them. Hyde was also this and a reason he was brought back last year to the PS. McDermott has not been good at developing leaders on this team.

You'd be surprised (or not) on who comes here. Players families are the funniest.

I've been on the fence about this as well. Do I want to face this reality? Does Coleman? Is he mature enough to realize the importance of his game today? What can he do? Athletically he is limited and we already know Josh can make chemistry with him but will it be natural? Will Coleman put his mind to it? Is there a leader on the team who's not creampuff wordy words like Dawkins who can hold him accountable? Do we have a Hollins, Hughes, Diggs, or Lee Smith or Hyde? Maybe Poyer will get the chance to realize his leadership role as we hit the homestretch. Ty Johnson is the unsung leader of the offense (no kidding) if people did not know. Will Johnson be able to speak to him and get him up?
