  1. This guy will not have a steep learning curve. He will be instant impact. It wouldn’t be possible for the Bills to scrounge up the capital to get him, but he is the only player in the draft who puts this offense over the top immediately.
  2. New CBA says arbitrator hears the case. The punishment would come from that person's decision. The appeal is still handled by Goodell alone. If arbitrator suspends him, no chance Goodell reduces such a suspension.
  3. Woods wasn't charged with or accused of assault. He just got truckloads of poontang
  4. Most wouldn't count keeping guys on the roster as participating in Free Agency. As has been pointed out in other threads, several of the keepers were given deals on the cheap because they would have otherwise been attractive cap cuts.
  5. "Limited"? Who's the naïve one? I guess you could say Bill Gates has limited funds. Jeff Bezos too, because it's a correct statement. Pegula clearly has the cash on hand as well as access to unlimited capital if he prefers to finance it. He's not in the red, he's billions ahead. If he's a little short this month, he could borrow from the NFL. Maybe he could ask Stan Kreonke how to do it. He privately funded a stadium worth more than Pegula. OR he could ask the Owners of the Jets and Giants how they did it. He's no fool, true--he would rather we pay for this. imagine if the government would build you a nice new mansion. Would that be amazing??--and VERY pragmatic of you!. It's thinking like yours that encourages politicians to spend your money on billionaires' desires.
  6. I'm thinking the Fins are pushing these other present and former NFLers into this current crime spree so as to make Watson look not so bad. I mean, it's possible right? These owners?
  7. A handful of concerts over even 4 seasons would do nothing to offset the debt service for a domed stadium. The Pegulas aren't going to move the Bills anywhere so make them pay for a stadium. They have the funds. Erie and NYS are running huge deficits.
  8. Inglewood was the home of the Fabulous Western Forum for years! Plus LAX is right there--even with the new stadium, it's not a garden spot...
  9. The problem is that that scenario exists already right across the border in the other NF. NFNY has been competing and failing with that town for years. Investors have voted on its future:
  10. NF-USA is a dump. I went a few years ago to a concert at the Rapids theater a few years ago and it was a sad gauntlet driving through town. Even the K of C was boarded up.
  11. That would fill only a fraction of the 3000 new rooms that were opening as new in 2017. There are at least 8500 rooms in the greater Buffalo area.
  12. This kind of thread and run is known as "dropping a deuce"
  13. Why can't the concerts play at an outdoor stadium in Spring/Summer/Fall? How many conferences are held on the field of any domed football stadium?
  14. Didn't this jabroni post this same nonsense yesterday, only to have it bounced?
  15. I attend or 2 a year. For the others, like nearly all other fans, I watch on TV for free. That will still be true with a new stadium.
