point is they wouldn't be offering all that money.......an also structuring it assuming he plays less than 75% of the games to save them cap space. They are offering him that money expecting 16+ games per season.

Why would they think he would not play even 12 games this season---and still sign him to a 44 million dollar 4 year deal?

Fisher is old, beat up, never that great and coming off a major injury. Schwartz with a shakey back. They went 14-2 with him only appearing in 6 games. It's interesting so many here are saying that they the Chiefs are doomed/crazy/etc to get rid of these 2, using the SB loss as a reference. Yet, soon after watching the snuff film that was the AFCC game, who here was saying: "yeah but what will they ever do without Schwartz and Fisher??"...

Goodwin??!!! I did NOT see this coming! YOLO, put down that sweet Thai stick! This guy has been in the league for 7 years....and has only 140 catches for 2300 yards----and he took last season off! When he last played, he had 6 starts (9 total games) and had 12 catches. He's a total bum. The BILLs helped him out once, no need for them to contribute to this charity again. Holy cow....Goodwin! lol

I saw Marv at the Ralph once, scurrying up to the booth to call the game. He was all smiles to everyone who was within sight. Great guy. Jonnu is a great idea. swapping out his cost for what they were paying Brown (who Josh had clearly lost confidence in) would be a fantastic move.
