  1. Maybe, but combined, 2 guys had 3 TDs and fewer yards on their teams than the one guy..
  2. Fanduel, Draftkings, Caesars had him 1.5 as of 9/1
  3. Keeping Peters at a premium/market price would have done nothing for "winning" in Buffalo. How could it? He's one O-lineman. It's like sticking Mercedes hood ornament on a Yugo. In Philly, the Eagles had their best season in decades with him in the whirlpool before October was up. He was easily replaced and they didn't miss a beat--even with a journeyman backup down the stretch and through the SB.
  4. yeah true Passing TD O/U is 1.5--jump on that too
  5. They've yet to show any inclination to limit his running attempts (granted many are not planned runs). Either way, any 3 TDs for +1200! He had 4 vs the #8 D in points allowed (KC). Rams were #7 last year--Miller's on the other side now...
  6. Meh.....And then they have to go out and play the Bills. Rams were losing the SB in the 4th Q to the 3rd best AFC team in the playoffs (scored only 92 points in 4 games vs Bills 83 in 2). They squeaked by, didn't cover. Even a healthy Stafford will be good for a few picks. Miller will pulverize him. Bills, easy money. The Josh bets are all looking tempting as well (score 2+ TD...+1200!).
  7. Nah...not even close. He would have had zero impact on the fortunes of the Bills had he stayed--How could he?. Fitz, Manuel, TT, Orton----wouldn't have made any difference at all. He made himself a nice career, but what real impact did he have in Philly? The year he was a "Super Bowl champion"--he was done before Halloween. They would only lose 2 more games all the way through the SB with a backup LT.
  8. we've read that here since 2009
  9. they seem to be falling back on a policy for teams to police practices. Not sure why
  10. No it was the NFL. Bowles cut him immediately.....and the Bills signed him the next day!
  11. His play fell of because his team wasn't very good. He is on a better team now. I said this twice. How would AAron Rodgers have played on that team the past few years. Packers are paying that old man a ton and that roster is worse now than it has been in a few years--they are stuck paying him. This is a smart move for the Broncos. Wilson is in his prime with years to go. He's a franchise QB getting paid as such with skyrocketing salary caps for years to come. Pretty simple, really.....
  12. you think the contract would cause a fall off in play? They won't be worse than last year. They will compete for the division title.
  13. He is on a better team now. His "falling off" is overstated.
  14. I've agreed twice that everyone would take Herbert. Herbert's Chargers lost 3 of 4 at the end of the season--including to Houston. In two of those games, his completion % was in the 50's and his rating in the 80's. He had 5 games with a single TD and at least 1 INT--they lost 4 of those games.
  15. Yes, from "elite/best ever" to mediocre/bottom half. Yet Seahawks were still winning 11-12 games. Given their ages, teams would take Herbert. But that doesn't make Wilson no longer elite. He's on a much better team now than that sinking ship in Seattle.
  16. Because of their ages yes. Stafford only got a ring when he landed on a superteam. Wilson to the Broncos (who have a great Defense) has just made it harder for the Chargers to make the playoffs. see above
  17. Wilson has led a top 10 scoring Offense 7 of 9 seasons. Seahawks D fell off the cliff starting in 2017--Wilson has carried that team, winning 11 and 12 games 2019, 2020. Seahawks Offense top 10 3 of the past 4 seasons. He had 40 TDs in 2020--12 in the second half when they went 6-2. 2 seasons of racking up regular season stats doesn't make a QB elite.
  18. In his first 7 years, Wilson had 75 wins--the most inn NFL history for that span. During that same period, he had a TD % of 6, second highest in the SB era, 2nd highest passing rating in NFL history, 4th highest passer rating for the previous27 seasons. After that, he followed up with 11 and 12 wins seasons. In 2017, he accounted for 37 of the team's 38 TDs--yet somehow was not named league MVP. Pro Bowl 9 of 10 seasons. Back o back SB, 1 ring. He is elite by any definition. Herbert has to lead his team to a playoff appearance before he can enter the conversation.
  19. There was a similar thread last year, Diggs and Singletary both over 1000.
