WR are targeted on average 5 times a game. you may have 1 who gets 10 targets. on running plays to opposite side, the wr is doing nothing. why invest big cap dollars in that position ??

no intentional tanking players and coaches will never tank, their livelihoods are at stake. some players who have lots of guaranteed money may not play so hard. some GM's may encourage coaches to play backups more to evaluate players for purposes of next season. losing will likely happen on it's own

would you support financially $$ any individual or group who mostly trashed you and your family ? the bills killed a cesspool of discontent that in their opinion encouraged protest boycotts, low attendance and hindered ticket sales. unfortunately for them, those so inclined can easily find an alternative forum to vent

#1 - the O-line needs a serious upgrade at RG & RT no matter what you do at QB #2- TT is a game manager who plays not to lose. you can do worse, but at some point you need a better QB who can play to win.

likely....the Pegula's ONLY got involved because Rex absolutely refused to bench Tyrod and told whaley, who got the Pegula's involved, that Rex would rather be fired early than the bench tyrod/fire rex after the season scenario. head coach & GM clearly not working together and the GM was not the head coaches boss.

I have no problem with the head coach having a short term win this week approach. I have no problem with a GM, once out of playoffs, wanting to get a look see jump on the next season by playing certain backup players. fast forward to this season... if and when the bills are "mathematically" eliminated from playoffs.....the 2019 season begins. I would start Peterman in however many games remained.

most of the time I don't like trading up, let the draft come to you or trade down....spread the risk of injury and salary cap over more players i'd pick Baker Mayfield with one of our late 1st....he's the next drew brees. Rudolph will be a 2nd round pick
