Levitre is absolutely worth the franchise tag to keep him...he will wind up getting logan mankins money 6yr/$50 mil. he is better than mankins. Byrd is over rated....he can't cover a tight end or wide receiver, he gets faked out by runners easily......he is a ball hawk ( if you call 5 int's special) and his tackling has improved over last year. a safety is alot easier to replace.

the broncos did not fill the GM role after Brian Xanders was let go by elway. Elway has final say on personnel decisions.....but xanders never had final say on roster decisions under Shanahan, McDaniels or Elway. elway had some previous experience running/owning an Arena Football League franchise AND has a year with xanders before letting him go. Jim Kelly has no such experience and would definitely need Whaley.

the big news will be ralph cleans house.....nix, gailey and all coaches fired.....jim kelly will be given a position similar to what john elway has with the broncos (executive vice president of football operations) and asst gm doug whaley will be promoted to GM and report to kelly.
