  1. #1 Greatest NFL Linebacker of All Time: Lawrence Taylor Lawrence Taylor was a physical force of unreal size, strength, and speed. L.T. was in full-blown attack mode at all times. Beyond his natural physical and mental capabilities he was backed by the perfect storm of prowess, intensity, and strategy, Lawrence Taylor was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year three separate seasons and took home League MVP honors in 1986. As a pass rusher, Lawrence Taylor was built to wreak havoc coming off the edge. L.T. perfected the art of the strip-sack where he would crush a pocket passer and hammer out the football in one fell swoop. Within moments, Lawrence Taylor would scoop up the loose ball and gallop toward the end zone for six. As a sack artist, L.T. finished up his career with 132.5 sacks, which is still good for eighth of all time in 2010. In the running game, there was no avoiding Taylor because he could blow up pulling linemen going strong side and also chase down any vain attempts to run away from #56. Due to of his explosiveness and power, Taylor was a match up nightmare for bulky offensive tackles and pesky blocking backs, alike. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ycn-7505900
  2. Apart from Nawrocki's critique of Smiths mechanics, Nawrocki adds this assessment of Smith: Not a student of the game. Nonchalant field presence ; does not command respect from teammates and cannot inspire. Mild practice demeanor; no urgency. Not committed or focused; marginal work ethic. Interviewed poorly at the Combine and did not show an understanding of concepts on the white board. Opted not to compete at the Senior Bowl and has approached offseason training as if he has already arrived and it shows in his body with minimal muscle definition or strength. Has small hands and glaring ball security issues (32 career fumbles). Really struggled handling the snow in Pinstripe Bowl (took two safeties) and will be troubled by the elements. Needed to be coddled in college; cannot handle hard coaching; Nawrocki then makes a strong prediction about Smiths future. Smith is a gimmick, overhyped product of the system lacking the football savvy, work habits and focus to cement a starting job and could drain energy from a QB room; Nawrocki writes. Will be overdrafted and struggle to produce against NFL defensive complexities.; http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/01/nawrocki-provides-scathing-assessment-of-geno-smith/

  6. Tim Tebow is officially an unrestricted free agent. As expected, all 31 other teams took a pass on Tebow after the Jets put him through the NFL’s waiver system, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. As a result, Tebow is now free to sign with any team. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/30/as-expected-tim-tebow-clears-waivers/

  8. Byrd will NOT be starting week 1. this is going to be a long drawn out process. it's going to get ugly. I say he reports around week 10 just in time to get credit for a vested year.
  9. I think it's on Kolb to beat out EJ Manuel. if they are equal, then start EJ.
  10. #1- Improved QB play on offense. #2- Improved "attacking" defense. #3- overall more entertaining. #4- Tougher schedule/strength of opponents. #5- 6-10 again.
