  1. wonder how this effects Troup ?
  2. per rotoworld...Bills agreed to terms with DT Alan Branch, formerly of the Seahawks, on a one-year, $3 million contract. The veteran run stopper will slide in as a role player behind Marcell Dareus and Kyle Williams. Branch played 575 snaps for the Seahawks last season, grading out in the middle of the pack in Pro Football Focus' defensive tackle ratings. He'll help shore up a run defense that allowed 145.8 yards per game and 5.0 yards per carry in 2012. Apr 2 - 2:04 PM Source: Jason La Canfora on Twitter
  3. why is it, if someone else cut him, he sucks. and if someone else signs him, we were sleeping ?
  4. Rd 1 - OL Rd 2 - QB Rd 3 - LB
  5. i like it !! worst case scenario: it's a one year deal and they cut em. best case scenario: he finally gets his chance and shines. although i still want them to draft a QB in 1st or 2nd round, this signing gives them options. i'm all about finding a Franchise QB.....until then, everything else is spinning your wheels.
  6. the Bills are picking Chance Warmack at #8.
  7. Kolb is a big upgrade over Fitz.....especially throwing the long ball.
  8. bills still take a QB at #8. Kolb will be here for one season.
  9. was Troupe healthy for even one game ? I ask, because he has sucked in every game he has played in.
  10. was listening to an interview with the honey badger, it was right after the combine. he was talking about answering all tough questions and going into detail about his history. the interviewer asked who or what team asked the most questions.....he answered "a couple of guys from the patriots".
  11. the honey badger will be a Patriot
  12. nothing changes until you get a Franchise QB. drafting the "best available player" only works if you already have your Franchise QB. take last years team, I would argue that if Peyton Manning was our QB, we would have made the playoffs. where as, if we added an All_pro player at any other position on the team, we would not have made the playoffs.
  13. Steelers safety Troy Polamalu says that if the NFL is going to keep passing rules designed to protect the players, the players should get a vote in those rules. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/29/polamalu-says-players-should-have-a-vote-in-rule-changes/ I like one of the comments: As a caveat for players then, each should have to sign an airtight waiver, that starts with the line: “I understand that football is an inherently dangerous sport and I assume all risks involved with playing football, which may include everything up to, and including, death. I surrender all of my rights to sue for damages anytime before, during and after my career is over( which includes any agents, family members or survivors) and hold the NFL, it’s teams and owners and everyone associated with the sport, harmless.” How simple is that?
  14. Davis is staying home even though the Bills' offer was reportedly "a little better," and for two years. Recovering from a torn Achilles' tendon, Davis has wisely saddled up for a one-year deal, which gives him the opportunity to prove he's healthy and cash in with a bigger contract next offseason. Davis' role in the Redskins' Robert Griffin III-driven offense was never quite clear before he went down last season, but he still has TE1 upside. If healthy, he could enter 2013 as the Redskins' No. 2 option in the passing game. Davis is tentatively expected to be ready for training camp. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4716/fred-davis
  15. reportedly, the bills offer was only "slightly" better. the player all along preferred staying with the Redskins. the free agent market is very soft, Davis is coming off an Achilles injury which comes with big risk. the player decided to bet on himself and accept a one year deal in hopes of hitting it big next year when he gets another shot at free agency. it also coincides with his preffered team, the redskins, being in much better shape salary cap wise, when they will be done with the huge cap penalty they incurred for the uncapped year.
  16. we never had a chance...... he wanted to stay with the redskins all along. he used the bills to set the market. in fact, he only signed a one year deal with Wash to help them with their salary cap issue.
  17. 2013 - "Winning isn't everything"
  18. NO....he is a phony, fraud, liar.....not the makings of a leader. also, what you saw in the Alabama game, is what you will see every week in NFL.
  19. just heard on radio he is coming in for a visit on Wednesday.
  20. how come nobody complains when wives and girlfriends are called out for looking good ?
  21. Obama says going over the cap no big deal.....he will just print more cap dollars.
  22. Possible destinations based on Baltimores schedule include Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Miami, Chicago, Detroit, and Denver. The most intriguing matchup comes in Denver, where the Ravens stunned the Broncos in the playoffs. But why should the Ravens have to roll into the lions den for their first game of the season? An argument could be made that the Ravens should be given the ability to choose their opponent for the Week One road opener (MAYBE THEY PICK THE BILLS ?)or at a minimum to veto the possibility of games at Denver or Pittsburgh. The only certainty at this point is that the game wont be played in Cincinnati, since the Bengals have the same problem that forced the Ravens out of town. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/22/ravens-will-still-play-on-september-5-but-where/
