  1. Seems like a lot of people are calling Freeman a stud... 2009: 54.4%, 1,855 yds, 10 TD, 18 INT (6.4 ypa) 2010: 61.4%, 3,451 yds, 25 TD, 6 INT (7.3 ypa) 2011: 62.8%, 3,592 yds, 16 TD, 22 INT (6.5 ypa) 2012: 54.8%, 4,065 yds, 27 TD, 17 INT (7.3 ypa) If anything he's inconsistent and prone to throwing interceptions. Sound familiar? Sure he's got upside, but he certainly is not a stud.
  2. On Offense: Too many green players on the line.. our line is good but that doesnt mean we cant upgrade at RT or RG TJ Graham should be red (maybe donald jones too) On Defense: Linebackers need to be red (all except for maybe barnett). Aaron Williams definitely needs to be red I think you were a little too optimistic, but I can see your arguments. The truth is the Bills have subpar talent at too many positions. How many teams would Donald Jones start for in the league? Aaron Williams?
  3. Star Lotulelei hasnt gone yet and isnt an option?
  4. I wanted to see the panthers and the eagles beat the patriots..
  5. I would rather give brett favre a tryout than jamarcus russell
  6. At the dallas stars game.. haha
  7. Wow crazy.. thought he was back at oregon for good
  8. I really like his arm. His receivers seemed very below average in the 2 tapes you included, so its saying something that he broke records and was successful as he was. I think I like him more than Nassib, about level with Barkley.
  9. <===== Appropriate! Don't forget about Sam Adams! Man that game was awesome..
  10. Patriots vs 49ers
  11. The fact that you've heard of that many QBs from USC serves as a counterpoint. Find me a school that has put more QBs in the NFL in the past 15 years. History means next to nothing in the case of Matt Barkley. Different coach, different system and different development over the past 2 years.
  12. Watching that highlight video vs the Nassib video in another thread, Barkley is much more impressive I think. He fits the ball into very tight windows and makes a ton of throws down field. He also seems very efficient near the redzone, causing lots of pass interference by putting balls in places on his WR can go and get them. Barkley certainly hasnt gotten worse every year.. he regressed a little bit from last year in terms of completion percentage and INTs. But his yards per attempt were way up which is a very good thing. If I have to choose between Barkley and Nassib.. I'm taking Barkley. One of these USC QBs is bound to pan out.
  13. Its a reach if you know you can get him in round two. You wouldn't see a GM take a guy in the 1st round that wasn't expected to be drafted, even if he thought he was going to be a great player.
  14. Jason Pierre Paul, Rob Gronkowski
  15. Interesting stuff, thanks for giving us as much as you did.
  16. Bring on the optimism train! Woooo Woooooooooo!
  17. My wish list: C. Kelly L. Smith M. McCoy K. Whisenhunt R. Horton - Kelly has a chance to be special. There's a lot to like about him as a team leader and an offensive guru. - Smith, if paired with a good OC can be a very good coach. I'm just worried he'll be coming to a downgraded version of the bears (talent wise). - McCoy seems to do great things with QBs so he makes a lot of sense in that regard. Not sure how he'd do on the other side of the ball. - Whisenhunt and Horton are a package deal in my mind. I'm not sure if I'd want one without the other. I like both of their pedigrees but their work in Arizona doesnt exactly scream success.
  18. If I had to pick between Lovie and his potential staff and Wis and his potential staff.. I'm definitely leaning towards Lovie. More proven success in his previous job and a clear strength (defense) that will help us immediately.
  19. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/8809007/lovie-smith-formerly-chicago-bears-reportedly-interview-buffalo-bills Lovie Smith + Hugh Jackson (as OC) I would definitely sign on for that. The most appealing combo I've heard so far
  20. Ray Horton as Head Coach, Norv Turner as Offensive Coordinator?
  21. Let the coaching carousel begin!
  22. We get it.. you'll never forgive him and you hate him.
  23. I sure wish he was a Bill
  24. You cant envision a situation where we would beat those teams? The steelers 2 best players (roethlisberger and polamalu) are constantly injured. The saints have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Neither of those teams will be in the playoffs this year.
