  1. I was curious what it would look like if I went through the whole schedule and picked game by game. I came out with 8-8 (3-3 division). I tried to be realistic, I think Miami is the team in the basement this year and we'll see a much improved team from the beginning of the year to the end. What does everyone else think? L @ Kansas City Chiefs W Oakland Raiders L New England Patriots W @ Cincinnati Bengals L Philadelphia Eagles W @ New York Giants - Bye W Washington Redskins (Tor) L New York Jets L @ Dallas Cowboys W @ Miami Dolphins W @ New York Jets W Tennessee Titans L @ San Diego Chargers W Miami Dolphins L Denver Broncos L @ New England Patriots
  2. It'll be interesting to see if defense start paying more attention to Johnson than they do to Evans. We could end up seeing Evans have a career year.
  3. I think these two guys are the most intriguing players on the team heading into the new season. Will Steve Johnson build off of his success from last year and have a great season? Will CJ Spiller bounce back from a disappointing rookie campaign and be a difference maker? Personally I think they're both going to go off and next year we'll be talking about them as the two biggest play makers on the team.
  4. Ndamukong Suh and Haloti Ngata.. they'll bring back memories of the days where Pat Williams and Ted Washington used to eliminate opposing rushing attacks.. Not to mention they have two of the coolest names in the NFL
  5. Jamarcus had his 3.. whats the harm in giving maybin a chance before he's a definite bust.
  6. Boston College is a more recent school. Both Hasselbecks (Matt & Tim), and Matt Ryan. Not to many Colleges have 2 above average starters in the NFL today
  7. I lost a bet and was forced to wear a Chad Pennington jersey for an hour.. worst hour of my life
  8. If we're talking about pure athleticism why don't we look at a guy like Bryan Clay. He won the decathlon at last years Olympics. 100 meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400 meter, 110 meter hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and the 1500 meter. I would say that is a better measure of the best athlete then one or two professional sports
  9. I think we're forgetting that T.O. is only one player. If you look at the Bills offense as a whole where did they really improve from last year? WR is better, RB added a little more depth, QB stayed the same (which is still a question mark), and compared to last year the Oline is in shambles. Unless the line can mesh right off the bat, our offense will probably struggle.
  10. I totally agree.. In his last year playing Vick threw for 2,474 yards with 20 TD's, 13 picks and a 52.6 completion percentage. He also ran for 1,039 yards and 2 TD's. When is the last time a Bills quarterback gave us 22 touchdowns? As a player Vick could definitely help the team. Think about what putting a player like Vick on the field in the redzone could do.

  12. I figured I'd look into the recent history of the #11 pick.. Heres what I found: 2008: Leodis McKelvin (Buffalo) 2007: Patrick Willis (San Francisco) 2006: Jay Cutler (Denver) 2005: DeMarcus Ware (Dallas) 2004: Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh) 2003: Marcus Trufant (Seattle) 2002: Dwight Freeney (Indianapolis) Basically the guys that have come out of the #11 pick in the last 7 years have been high impact players and team leaders (with the exception of McKelvin who has yet to be proven). Hopefully that trend will continue? Recent history is on our side.
  13. The only problem with the Lynch Jackson combo is that only one of them is on the field at a time. Both are great but with a guy like Boldin you get a player who will be on the field for 90% of the snaps (assuming he's healthy). We have two great running backs and I love Lynch but if you can get a guy like Boldin and keep Jackson it means more weapons on the field at once. On another note, as great as Lynch is, he comes down to being a grinder type running back. He doesn't have a great YPC and the majority of his runs go for 3 yards up the middle. We didn't get to see to much of Oman this year but he is built in the same way and could be that pounding back. You never know he could compliment Jackson perfectly
