I think the reporters got their quotes mixed up. The Bills offense knew exactly what the 49ers defense was doing and exploited them over and over and over.

Cutting players creates immediate holes on the roster. If Beane believes the salary cap will return to pre-virus levels for the 2022 season, I think he will be very busy renegotiating contracts to create cap space in order to keep D. Williams, Feliciano, and Milano. Diggs contract, to me, is a logical start point. Maybe add a year onto to his existing contract as well.

Bills can create cap room by restructuring some contracts. They don't have to cut guys if they don't want to.

Time to get ready for the trick play to Gabriel. Some extra stretching is in order!

I believe this is it. Wentz had a great year before getting hurt and in comes Foles and they don't miss a beat. They win the Super Bowl. Reich leaves and both Wentz and Foles have not looked the same since. Yes, Foles moved onto Jax and now is with Da Bears. Two things concern me as a Bills fan: how long can Mahomes play at this level of play and Frank Reich getting a stud young qb.

IIRC 43 was jawing at Allen as he ran out of bounds earlier in the drive. Allen spinned the ball in front of 43 after he scored.

Fans get hung up on how the game should play out and if it doesn't, it rarely does, then they complain. Bills got to 24 - 6. All 3 phases of game were clicking. Yes they messed up some - turnovers, penalties, and another Hail Mary. But ....... Bills won, 8 - 3, in first place. Good times!

All of this plus I thought the Bills had a strong game on Special Teams.

I noticed during the game there was a fair amount of jawing back and forth. 52 and 43 for the Chargers were yacking it up quite a bit.

My biggest concern is getting healthy and staying healthy. Bills had a terrible game against Titans and a frustrating game plan against the Chiefs. If they are healthy, Bills can hang with anyone.

Looking forward to see how Bills defense plays the rest of season and whether Milano returns this year. Could decide Milano's fate. Also, I believe Morse has had 5 documented concussions. His next one could be his last one before retiring. Just don't see how the Bills keep him after this season.

I've been watching the NFL since the 70s. I have an absolute passion for it even now. I hope though that this year is an anomaly. Offensive holding is way down and DPI is way up. For me, the best games are final scores in the 20s. That's a good mix of enough offense and defense imo. One thing that I don't care for is all the pregame and post game stuff/hype. I usually just watch the game and nothing more. The other difference is I used to watch any NFL game. Now, I'm much more selective. All Bills games and usually SNF. Watching football all day Sunday is long gone.

I used to like Aikman as an analyst but now he's sounding like a clown. He did the Colts Titans game last Thursday night. Within a few a plays, he starts by saying how smart Rivers is in seeing the entire field and understanding the defensive coverage to finishing with Rivers is hesitant. While all along it should have been the receiver is open and let it rip! He really hates Buffalo and has little or no respect for us.

I don't believe so but Winston came in to relieve Brees to start 2nd half. Hill was in there for a few plays per usual.

He also seems to be a better pass catcher

Who knows what McD is thinking at these pressers. Morse has been a disappointment for me as well. Maybe they're moving on from him after the season. He seems to get penalized a fair amount as well.

DE is responsible for maintaining outside containment. It's not coaching. You learn it in Pee Wee football.
