  1. Josh was able to convert short third down runs with sneaks, runs up the middle and sweeps. He was able to scramble and break tackles, run with speed and break ankles of DB’s. He was able to make check downs that went for positive yardage, medium, semi deep and deep passes. The run game with Motor was able to convert short yardage third downs, get good chunk yardage and be Josh’s safety valve and we were also able to effectively use McKenzie as a change of pace runner. The offensive line pass blocked and ran blocked at an elite level. The wide receivers were able to make incredible catches with defenders draped over them. This was perfection!
  2. I don’t believe that to be the case. If he was throwing it away he would have thrown it further out. I think he was throwing it at a place where he knew no Pats player could have made a play and was genuinely surprised that Knox came down with it.
  3. I think when you were thinking about this thread, the thought was better than the thread itself.
  4. He's been plagued with injuries throughout his career, every time it appeared he was beginning to get a hang of things he'd get hit with an injury. Phillips for Stanford was not just good at run stuffing but he had lots of sacks as well and if he can remain healthy, I think what you've seen from him this last half of the season is not a fluke but rather the beginning of his ascension.
  5. “Why didn’t McDermott make the weather colder” - Scottlaw
  6. He’s a fearless runner, he runs at full speed hoping to hit and bust through a hole for a big gain which leads him running into walls. With that said, I would prefer McKenzie as well
  7. Frazier has been great. The Bills defense has consistently been a good defense specially so against the pass. With that said, I believe McDermott also plays a role in that and I believe that he and Beane would find a good replacement for him. Enough so that if that trade rumor were true, I would jump all over that. The Bills are heading into more challenging cap territory and 2 early mid round picks could potentially land a low cost starter, which is what Buffalo will need to do to stay in their SuperBowl window.
  8. All the info that was necessary to make a decision was available, even if you look at how the CDC is formulating their decisions, very little of it makes sense, confusing and contradictory. They are being driven by outside forces, companies, labor shortages, $ etc and they are beginning to wind down and go off the exit ramp. Not under the terms that they had hoped but winding down none the less.
  9. Everything is beginning to move in this direction, as it should have been since the beginning of the season. Better late than never.
  10. I don’t think some of you are truly appreciating the New England run. The hesitation move slowed the defender down just enough to get by him with JC Jackson perfectly positioned to make the play only to have Allen make a slick crossover like move that Juked JC Jackson so badly that he completely whiffed and made him hit the other pursuing defender while Allen scoots by for the critical first down. Considering the importance and the degree of absurdity and difficulty of that run, I would say that run is my favorite. Only a handful of QB’s, if that could have made that play.
  11. With the CDC’s new recommendations, do we know how this will impact those already on the list?
  12. Barring any COVID major developments, I fully expect to come the Bills to come out and dominate. The switch has been turned on, Buffalo will be playing with a high level of urgency from now until the end.
  13. That ball didn’t even come close to hitting his hands. It hit him right in the middle of the arms, he was a good foot from his hands. Just shows you he had almost no chance of catching it. He didn’t even whiff coming anywhere near close to catching that ball. That ball must have been wobbling and whirling in the air.
  14. Holy crap! If that first throw could be judged with a degree of difficulty, it would be a 10. That is one of the most bonkers throws I have seen him make yet. I think only Mahomes can possibly make that throw and that is it. True definition of “arm arrogance”
  15. Zay Jones had his best year as a pro his last year with the Bills with Josh Allen. John Brown has his best year as a pro with his first year with Josh Allen. Beasley has his two best years in his first two years with Josh Allen. Stefon Diggs has his best year ever with his first year with Josh Allen. Dawson Knox had 0 TD catches in college and now has 9 TD’s and becoming close to a probowl caliber TE. This isn’t a coincidence. Many of us who watched the Bills lose to the Dolphins his rookie year where figuratively took the team on his back knew we had our franchise QB. And to watch him progress all his stats from year 1 to 2 to 3 knew that he was a very special QB in the making. Josh Allen would shine for any competent offensive play caller, would they run the same system that they do for Mac Jones? Of course not, they would open up the playbook and unleash Josh’s unique god given talents. Mac Jones is a good heady QB, and I think he will have a fine career but he will never be able to make the off-schedule plays or anything close to approaching Josh Allen.
  16. And then he ran down the field and destroyed JC Jackson
  17. Dion Dawkins destroyed two players on one play. Hooo boy
  18. https://twitter.com/barstoolsports/status/1475185097309659154?s=21 I heard him say “ You, you, you, you, Let’s go Belichek”
  19. If we had it your way Whaley would still be the GM with Sammy Watkins at $18m a year as the #1 WR and Marcelo Dareus as our starting DT.
  20. I think from a mental and psychological standpoint, things are aligning for a good performance from the Bills. I think they will play with urgency right off of the bat and I would expect for Josh to do everything in his power to lead the Bills to victory which most likely includes a lot of running off of scrambles and tosses, called running plays and non called runs.
  21. Did any Patriots get COVID?
  22. This will happen. But not until next season. COVID will soon be seen as a seasonal deal like the flu. The messaging from power players are beginning to move in that direction
  23. At his age the odds are even better than 99.8%. Much better
  24. 1) Gabe Davis is the unquestioned #2 WR 2) Allen should run it more down this last stretch 3) Odaba should see more snaps
