  1. You could be right. If that happens then the blame goes primarily to TT and he can't be over reliant on a single person to make his reads. Personally, I think Zay is going to be a decent player even as a rookie, Matthews I believe will get open from the slot and with Clay and McCoy you have two more weapons that can catch the ball for you. If the run blocking is there this year similar to the previous two, there really isn't any reason for TT to have a decent statistical year, by his standards of course.
  2. I think the main point that I'm alluding to is that this team really didn't drop off a cliff when Sammy was injured and not playing. That if this team sputters on the offensive side of the ball it most likely won't be because of Sammy not being here but rather a team that didn't adjust to the new offensive scheme. I predict that both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball that the Bills will be considerably filled with more talent 2-3 years from what it looks like now, which really isn't that far off from where we've been the past couple years, when you really stop to think about it. I'm aware of the stats, I ask these questions not because I'm curious to know them but because sometimes it helps put things into perspective when they are answered in such a way.
  3. Shouldn't the point be how the offense and team did with or without him? I'll defer my judgement of the offensive line and offense once the regular season begins.
  4. Interesting So, what he is saying is that he couldn't coach Whaley's players into a winning team but that McD should give it a shot because he may be able to?
  5. Overall, I would say while Sammy has been on the field, the reason why his production hasn't been "all that" would primarily have to do 50% QB, 40% Sammy (because he would be playing with what seemed like endless ailments that limited his play and 10% the OC's. I have no doubt that they called plays for him but they should have really almost force TT to throw it his way more.
  6. Interesting. It must have been damn near miraculous that the Bills were able to go 6-2 without Sammy this past season, you know with him being "much less replaceable" and all.
  7. Whose fault would you assign for that? TT 50%, Lynn 40%, Watkins 10%? TT 90%, Lynn 5%, Watkins 5%? Or other factors?
  8. So the Bills were able to win without him last year and they have the same offensive line?
  9. What was the Bills record with Watkins and without him this past season?
  10. More like the clowns are the ones offering up the incessant hot takes.
  11. You're right, he was the clear number two, they got rid of him to sabotage the team out of spite of Whaley. Amirite?
  12. I would say if he's cleared by tomorrow he starts and if not then Peterman gets the nod. Being out on the field the way he was yesterday portends to him being the likely starter
  13. not me. I was all about the rebuild
  14. Half the board doesn't want to listen to this stuff. After so many years of losing and hearing certain cliches from new coaches promising change, it falls on deaf ears from many Bills fans. Which is unfair to the new incoming regimes because they pay for the past sins of the failed promises from the previous ones, which is certainly understandable. The good news with McD/Beane is that they have a clear mandate from the Pegulas to rip the roots out of this failing franchise and to completely retool it the way they see fit. They are completely conscience of the unpopularity from part of the fanbase of some of the moves they've made. What's inspiring to me is their confidence to make these moves knowing the potential blowback from the fans. And that everything that I've read and observed from them they are very detailed oriented and prepared. Next year will define their future for the Bills. With all those draft picks and all the cap room they are freeing up, they know that if they are going to be successful its going to be about the evaluations and decisions they make leading up to the draft and the offseason.
  15. He's not a bum, he simply was not chosen by the coach to make the final cut. He's a JAG, just like the rest of our RB's aside from Shady. The decision from every other NFL team to not claim him off waivers at bargain basement value simply validates their assessment is inline with the rest of the NFL. In regards to "inspiring" confidence to the rest of the backs on the team, well.... I'm pretty sure that thought hasn't even crossed their minds for one split second. They are happy to have made the team. For now
  16. Not sure, maybe the other (expert 31 teams) has an idea, considering they all decided to pass on him via waivers.
  17. The final score results mean little but the performance of the players during pre season often times does matter.
  18. Hopefully. Even though from my view he's an average backup RB, he is familiar with the system and I believe if given the opportunity he'd do decent.
  19. The award is meaningless but it certainly is a reflection of him playing good ball during the preseason. Hopefully he can carry it through the season.
  20. Flutie Bledsoe Taylor Orton
  21. You're such a kidder. Seriously, who claimed him?
  22. That can't be right, your Twitter must be broken

  24. The legend of Jwill grows. By the way, which team picked him up?
