  1. No no, we bills fan are happy with mediocrity.
  2. I said reasonable people will wait to make that judgement after all the draft picks they accumulated have played, which clearly you are part of the unreasonable whiny contingency
  3. Reasonable people will wait until after all the draft picks from next year will have played a season to make that judgement. But keep whining
  4. Completely dismantling the Whaley era.
  5. Good breakdown
  6. It's not the questioning of the decisions that are being ridiculed it's the hyperbolic comments that people like myself are amused with.
  7. It would be nice if we limited the discussion of this thread to things pertaining to TT's concussion protocol status
  8. I think the point that he's making is that it is uncertain
  9. Some days you are a good poster. Today's not one of them
  10. Yes, that's what they are doing 😂
  11. Well, that is rather ominous.
  12. Aside from your posts being slightly self-congratulatory they are substantive. Oh, and try using paragraphs and spacing a little more. When they are all jumbled up like that some people tend to gloss over those posts.
  13. Mods must be out of town.
  14. Well whatever we used to do with Dareus, do the opposite.
  15. I can't remember, how did the Bills handle all the Dareus issues before this year? Privately or publicly like Beane has?
  16. Well, that is engaging in a pure hypothetical based off of Peterman taking a parallel path to the end product of T. Edwards and that is a separate argument than the one we were having. You could literally put any rookie who is taking decisive quick throws and apply that into that argument. This is based off of what we've seen, not based off of what could happen.
  17. I was as big of a homer for Trent Edwards as there was on this board, years back. I am very familiar with Trent but at some point in his career he got to the point to where he often times would almost immediately fall back to his check downs. He wouldn't even wait for his progressions, he'd look to one receiver, see that he was covered (or believed he was) and then go to the check down. I remember it clearly to this day. What we have seen from Peterman is nothing of the sort. No checkdowns. Maybe Peterman will end up doing the same, but nothing that we've seen from him so far indicates that to be the case, until then, anyone who says that Peterman's brand of ball is similar to Trent Edwards is taking an amateurish take on the comparison, imo.
  18. Yes, that is an opinion. If you aren't able to tell the difference between a fact and an opinion, don't bother responding.
  19. I've already provided by response, I'm not going to repeat it for those that aren't able to see what I'm saying. If you think he's Trent Edwards 2, that is your opinion and it is my opinion that those who have that view on what we've seen from Peterman have amateur takes.
  20. And this is the correct take by Beane. TT should be the starter and remain the starter up until we are out of the playoff hunt or if TT really struggles badly before that point. Hopefully it won't get to that. It is an amateur take.
  21. Not at all, this is an amateur take of Peterman. Trent checked down on throws, the throws that Peterman are making are not checkdowns, rather they are routes that are designed by the offense and he's been making decisive throws that correspond with the intended routes.
  22. One of the more encouraging things about this game is that we haven't committed many penalties.
  23. There are plenty of NFL evaluators and analysts that believe that Peterman's arm is strong enough for this league. Based on the velocity that I've seen him rip some of the 15 yard throws, I don't believe that his arm strength will be a big issue at all. The question for me is, can he remain poised the way he has looked in preseason when NFL starters are coming at him from all sorts of angles with exotic blitzes and looks? If he can do that, then from my perspective it is only a matter of time before he supplants T.T
  24. I'm not saying he's a better overall QB yet, just that in the pocket I believe him to have better anticipation, vision and decisiveness than TT. I like TT, I think he's a leader among men and I believe he has as good of a work ethic as you could hope in a player. I wish that he would be the man, but when I see him drop back, he sort of flounders around in the pocket at times which is a stark contrast to how quickly Peterman gets the ball out. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. For now....
