  1. Blind man could have seen that coming. The guy barely did anything last season and we just signed a new DE.
  2. That would be awesome. Dick Jauron approved. This has been closer to the truth, for sure.
  3. It all depends on their evaluation of the actual players. If you trade a bunch of assets to go to #2 and then draft a bust then you have a total disaster on your hands. You need to really, really believe that the #2 QB will be a franchise QB. If you think it's a 50-50 chance then I'm not sure it's worth the assets you're giving up because the chances for the #3 QB may not be that much worse.
  4. Excellent summary of the popular thinking right now. I too think everyone is going to wait until draft day. Even if the Giants are 90% sure that they plan on moving the pick then they will probably wait until the last moment to get the best possible offer and be sure that Cleveland doesn't pull some crazy stunt and draft a RB or something.
  5. Pass if that's the case. The Bills could realistically end up with the #3 QB anyway with the twelfth pick. So I'm not sure it's worth it unless they're really, really sold on the 2nd highest rated QB in the draft class. He'd better not be the next Ryan Leaf.
  6. The Tyrod trade obviously sent him over the edge.
  7. So to summarize: A naked Zay Jones breaks a glass door and crawls through the hole cutting the crap out of himself. He then goes into the ground floor apartment, bleeding everywhere, and screaming that he was going to fight for Jesus. A woman screams and his brother, who is also there, has to stop him from jumping out a 30th story window. ???? Damn.
  8. Probably too much So based on this chart, the #12 and #22 alone would be more than enough to get the #1 overall from the Browns. That sounds totally unrealistic to me.
  9. It sounds good in theory, but I just want to point out that Glenn was not the teams starting RT last season, has never shown that he can play RT effectively and almost certainly wouldn't want to play there anyway since the big money is at LT.
  10. I think both Groy and Miller will look better with a different blocking scheme. If they draft a T and a G/C then I think they'll be some serious competition along the OL and some very hard cuts to make.
  11. It's a tribute to Fitz that even after all these years, he can still turn back the clock and highjack a Bills thread to make it a referendum on him instead. Nice.
  12. Good signings. Creates competition across the OL except for LT. If they draft a LT candidate in round 2 then they will have that too. I like it.
  13. You forgot the Broncos taking Allen at #5.
  14. Injuries to both feet on a 350 lb, 7 season vet, that were serious enough to keep him out of most of last two seasons can’t be described as “greatly exaggerated”, IMO. But he may come back strong.
  15. Actually, when the Bengals signed him I thought he’d fit right in because he is pretty similar to the LBs you’ve had in this regard. The Glenn trade will be boom or bust. If he returns to consistent health then he will be a steal for you. He is an elite tackle when healthy. Plus he can play guard in a pinch (? inside joke)
  16. To be honest, if the rookie they draft can't beat out McCarron then there may be a more serious problem.
  17. Hughes is the only proven pass rusher on the DL. It would be a giant setback to lose him in a division with Tom Brady.
  18. If the Bills don’t take a QB in round 1 then this offseason will have been a total disaster, IMO.
  19. I cant say that I agree with you on this. Brady is still the king of the AFCE. If th Bills plan on beating him then they need a heck of a lot better pass rush than they are likely to get with the current group. They need an interior pass rusher to replace K Williams, plus another DE that can rotate with Hughes and Murphy (even if he comes back fully from his injury and avoids suspension)
  20. Yes he would, but I don’t think the personality or dollars fit.
  21. The reason to be unhappy is that McCarron doesn’t really represent a strong plan B if the new rookie QB isn’t ready to start. He has never been a starter and has some real question marks as to whether he ever could be a successful one. I am fine with dumping Taylor, but he was a .500 starter. That was a legitimate short term plan B.
  22. If you are saying that it’s just as likely that McCarron, a career backup behind Andy Dalton, who was the last QB to sign in feee agency is just as likely to throw for 4,000 yards and 30 TDS as to lose out to Peterman as a backup then you don’t really have a grasp of reality. Or probabilities. But I agree with one thing: our conversation is done,
