  1. Your right. Just re-watched the clip. It's man. Not sure why they would do that. It's a mismatch for Gronk no matter who's on him basically.
  2. Even Percy Harvin at 85% is better than anyone on the roster, so it's a good move.
  3. Well they had a single high safety, so if you're in coverage you would think that the last place you could get beat is deep down the middle. Probably just bad recognition by the safety to get sucked up onto one of the underneath routes.
  4. Just fire the special teams coach instead.
  5. This makes absolutely no sense. When Bradley goes they are going to clean house, not rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.
  6. If/when Bradley goes down I doubt that they are going to hire from within.
  7. What did the Bears accomplish in '83?
  8. lol! The Bills are the best.
  9. So basically, Buffalo will be starting the worst group of WRs on an NFL team for as long as I can remember.
  10. I think their defensive picks were spot on. Alexander is having a great season but he is undersized, playing on ST too and getting up there in years. Having a bigger guy like Lawson to rotate in with him for a couple of years will be really useful. Also, while Zack Brown has been playing great I've been less impressed with Preston Brown and if Ragland can provide a more physical presence then I think he is worth it.
  11. This one is actually my favorite: http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Bills-Rewind-2011-Bills-Patriots-Highlights/0cc6f306-61cf-4b12-9450-bc4b83c91aa5 Brady has had multiple 4 int games in his career.
  12. Send out the Hanson Brothers! He played pretty well, but was injured yet again. That's been the major criticism of him and unfortunately he can't seem to stay healthy. At this point it looks like you can only rely on a few games a year from him.
  13. Yes, that's what I would do. Poker face. But if people believe his posts, then it's better for the Bills bargaining position (if they in fact have any interest) if he says what he did.
  14. Do you really expect Chris Brown, who is a mouthpiece for the team, to put it out to the public that the Bills are interested? Why? So that they can tip off other teams and/or alert the 49ers as to the level of their interest?
  15. The Pats offensive game plan hasn't changed in 10 years. They're going to come out with the short passing game to soften up the front seven and then start mixing in more and more power running and downfield throws as the game progresses, and depending on situation. The Bills will need to tackle well in the secondary to limit YAC and shut the running game down when they go to it. If they can make Brady one dimensional then they have a chance. No matter what, the Pats are going to score some points so the Bills offense needs to get to 30 points in this game. It won't be easy with the injuries so they're going to need some luck and some help from special teams.
  16. Strange, I just saw that Chris Brown said that the Bills are super interested and would give just about anything to get Smith. At least, that's what Doug Whaley told him.
  17. I think the Pats are going to run it a lot more than people expect. Buffalo has a pretty small front 7 right now, without a true NT and with Alexander, Preston Brown and Zach Brown at LBs. They have quick, high energy guys but they are not that big and that was a major problem last week. You know that Belichik sees this and I'm sure we're going to see more of Blount that some might expect. If the Pats throw the ball 40 or 50 times I think the Bills have a great shot at winning actually, but the defense is going to have to work very hard to make them one dimensional.
  18. He probably wouldn't be utilized much more here with the Bills trying to run the ball 40 to 50 times per game. That's got to factor into his decision making, if he has any say.
  19. Obviously, he would be great but it sounds like there a fair amount of competition for him so we'll have to see. Can't mortgage the farm for him.
  20. Assuming 4-4, and 1-4 in the AFC, they will probably need to go 6-2 the rest of the way. So they need 2 of the other games you mentioned... and to run the table on the other games. I would say that the Steelers and the Jets on the road will be very tough as well. OTOH, if the could beat NE then their chances (and confidence) would pick up tremendously.
  21. As Lindy Ruff used to say, don't react... initiate. There were plenty of opportunities the rest of the game to hammer Landry.
