  1. My main concern with starting him this week is if he has 2 poor drives to start the game they bench him and put winston in.
  2. Better is subjective. I always want to see the best at anything. And i feel it is objectively true that today’s athletes, in general, are better at their trade than athletes from decades ago. its a fact that athletes today are faster and stronger than 30-40yrs ago. Athletes are more specialized in their positions/sport. Is the sport as a whole better? I dont know. I could do with a little more balance in officiating between offense/defense. I miss being able to see hard hits without an automatic flag.
  3. Id rather play a tough schedule and come out 10-6. I dont want a cupcake schedule. This team is no longer an 8-8/7-9 fringe team where schedule makes a huge difference. We can better dictate our destiny now.
  4. 2-3 more inches in either direction for that ball and its incomplete. And thats on a 50yd throw. It literally hit Hopkins at the perfect apex of his jump. Its insane. they could literally try that 100 times and im confident they would fail every time.
  5. Thats surprising. Regarding the sacks we got 9 sacks in the two Jets games. So there is that...
  6. https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/11/12/josh-allen-rise-to-stardom-unique-playing-style-daily-cover Great article.
  7. I wouldnt trade him for anyone. This season I have him as QB4 in the NFL as well. But the thing is I wouldnt want the 3 QBs ahead of him. I understand Mahomes. The dude is amazing. Mahomes is better than Allen now (and possibly always), but Allen is freaking amazing and he’s ours. My eyes aren’t straying. Great post by the way.
  8. Haha i know. He was the whipping boy last season. Id love for Josh to just mature another year or two under him. I want him to get to the point in his career where his confidence and understanding of defenses is 100% established. After that switching coordinators may not be as detrimental to him.
  9. Diggs works for us very well. He’s the best WR we’ve had in years. His presence alone commands respect from opposition. Hes worth the pick. The outlook for Minnesota isnt brighter - theyre 3-5 and we’re 7-2. Thats franchise altering.
  10. I really hope Daboll doesnt leave
  11. I cant believe anyone pays for that garbage
  12. PFF is going full ret. Their entire team basically consists of: Packers, 49ers, Vikings and Seahawks players
  13. He did say the Falcons werent going to trade him. They just cut him instead
  14. I like Milano. I would not resign him. Some players are just injury prone. Its a gamble to assume the rest of his career may be like this but at this point its a reasonable gamble. He gets dinged up too easily. It sucks bc we have plenty of holes to fill without creating more, but availability in the NFL is critical
  15. Im so happy for all the young teenage Pats fans that have literally witnessed nothing but dominance their entire lives. What a time to be alive
  16. I see this argument almost every week about X team. Every week is different. Why didnt the Steelers destroy the Cowgirls? There are dozens of factors most likely
  17. I feel that compared to their previous unis, this Jets uniform is pretty sharp. About the only positive i can think of for the Jets franchise 🤷🏻‍♂️
  18. This is the biggest problem imo. Paying a player like R Wilson or Mahomes a ridiculous amount of money isnt the problem. Just like it shouldnt be a problem to pay Allen. You need a top QB to win in this league. But when you do pay them the boatloads they rightfully command you need to be on your A game as a franchise when it comes to drafting and quality, role player FA’s that fit your system. That becomes the challenge. The first challenge was finding the franchise QB. The next challenge is to surround him with talent. Some GM’s can only do one; some none; some can do both - at least for a decent period of time. And not to be forgotten, much like anything else in life, you can do everything right and still lose. Only one team can walk away with the SB each year. We as Bills fans should be aware of this more than fans of most other teams from the Kelly years.
  19. That means the Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, Dolphins, Cardinals, Chargers etc all have the same limited time frame. I guess no one will ever win a SB. Perhaps Andy Dalton leading the cowgirls.
  20. I was definitely playing with my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures
  21. The Bills have room for error and the dolphins basically dont. A rookie QB is going to have some clunkers here and there. You assume the dolphins are going to go 4-0. The chargers arent a layup - they can score points. Playing @ Denver isnt going to be a cakewalk either. And the Bengals keep getting better with Burrow. You talk about the Dolphins walking through 4 wins like theyre the Brady Patriots without mentioning that would mean the Dolphins would have gone 8-0 by that time. Okay. You speak of objectivity without applying it to your own argument. Theres nothing objective about your posts - youre a troll. You have this horrible point of view that everything the Dolphins have to do is easy and the Bills have it so hard.
  22. Who cares about the Dolphins. We’re rolling.
  23. Keep adding talent to the Oline. Get him a stud TE. Allen is our franchise - give him an embarrassment of weapons like the Chiefs have done with Mahomes. Yeh our defense needs help. Hopefully McD can pick good talent in later rounds and FA.
