Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?
bobobonators replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. This offense has been fine without Brown so id let him walk if that means keeping Williams. Williams is in the prime of his career. Allen is a stud and every resource in this franchise has to go into protecting him and giving him weapons. Could you imagine waiting 30yrs to find our franchise QB and then not giving him a damn OL to protect him or weapons to showcase his talent? A stud tackle > good WR in my opinion. Brown is good at what he does but hes a limited WR and replaceable. Id resign Williams even if it means Milano has to walk too. Again, we’ve been OK without him. First 3 rounds of draft in no specific order: TE OL (guard or center) LB (if Milano leaves - DL or DB if we resign Milano) we have two 5th rd picks next yr so we can add some quality depth to OL/LB as well -

Watt is a 10 and he was neutralized by that 8. You could argue that a lesser RT - a 7 or 6 - yesterday mightve lost us the game. All it wouldve taken was one timely strip sack or Watt having 2-3 drive killing sacks. The most i saw of Watt yesterday was him taking a breather on the sidelines. Resign Williams. Im more comfortable drafting a starting LB in the 2nd or 3rd rd than i am a top 5 RT in the NFL - which is basically what Williams is. Now that we have our franchise QB we need to keep adding to the OL and offense, not subtracting from it. Let McD work his magic on the defensive side. We need to continue to give Allen weapons and most importantly time in the pocket to use those weapons. -
Squeelers v. Bills, Week 14 Game Balls

The entire O-line. They eventually took over the game. Pitt brought the house every other play and they bent but never really broke. Outstanding. -

Im not even going to bother looking into it. But how subjective can a “turnover worthy” play be. What a waste. Why not start keeping track of “lovely” td’s vs “ugly” tds? -
Post Game thread Bills @ 49ers

Few things: 1. What a game by Josh - arguably one of his best performances in the NFL. 2. When Moss fumbled in the first quarter i thought “here we go again - Bills doing Bills things in primetime”. Glad we kept our composure. 3. This defense has really turned it around the second half of the season. 4. Beasley is a stud. Arguably one of the best signings we’ve done in recent memory. Enjoy your night fellas. Great win! -

We need a TE like Hock With Diggs, Brown, Beasley and a TE like Hock this offense would be nuts. -
2021 Premature Draft- List your top 3 positions of need
bobobonators replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. TE 2. OL 3. DE or LB We are in the same conference as Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Herbert. We need to score a lot of points. We have our franchise QB - build around him and hope MCD and co can land a couple of quality defensive players in the later rounds. A TE like Waller or Kelce would take this offense to an elite level. -
The Bills Aren't a Top-Tier Team Yet
bobobonators replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What are the tiers? Its subjective but you probably have something like: 1. Elite 2. Good 3. Average 4. Below average 5. Bad id say we rank in the top part of the Good category. Realistically there are probably only 2 teams in the elite category right now - Steelers and Chiefs. then there is a log jam at the good teams consisting of probably 10 teams then another log jam of average/below avg teams consisting of another 12-15 Finally a couple of god awful teams. So yeh technically we arent top tier no matter what scale you use, but like you said, we’re close. -
The End of the Lamar Jackson Era

He earned his MVP award. Im not sure why you go out of your way to diminish what he did. Its an award. It has to be given to someone. He had an MVP type season. Get over it. -

And this will be the beginning of the end for Flores and the Dolphins. You cant start flip flopping like this. -

Saints to start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston

My main concern with starting him this week is if he has 2 poor drives to start the game they bench him and put winston in. -
Is the NFL Better than Ever Today?
bobobonators replied to May Day 10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Better is subjective. I always want to see the best at anything. And i feel it is objectively true that today’s athletes, in general, are better at their trade than athletes from decades ago. its a fact that athletes today are faster and stronger than 30-40yrs ago. Athletes are more specialized in their positions/sport. Is the sport as a whole better? I dont know. I could do with a little more balance in officiating between offense/defense. I miss being able to see hard hits without an automatic flag. -
Week 10 MNF: Vikes at Bears, 8:15 ESPN
bobobonators replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id rather play a tough schedule and come out 10-6. I dont want a cupcake schedule. This team is no longer an 8-8/7-9 fringe team where schedule makes a huge difference. We can better dictate our destiny now. -
2-3 more inches in either direction for that ball and its incomplete. And thats on a 50yd throw. It literally hit Hopkins at the perfect apex of his jump. Its insane. they could literally try that 100 times and im confident they would fail every time.

Josh Allen in Sports Illustrated

What would it take for you to trade Josh?
bobobonators replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldnt trade him for anyone. This season I have him as QB4 in the NFL as well. But the thing is I wouldnt want the 3 QBs ahead of him. I understand Mahomes. The dude is amazing. Mahomes is better than Allen now (and possibly always), but Allen is freaking amazing and he’s ours. My eyes aren’t straying. Great post by the way. -
Josh Allen named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
bobobonators replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Haha i know. He was the whipping boy last season. Id love for Josh to just mature another year or two under him. I want him to get to the point in his career where his confidence and understanding of defenses is 100% established. After that switching coordinators may not be as detrimental to him. -
Diggs works for us very well. He’s the best WR we’ve had in years. His presence alone commands respect from opposition. Hes worth the pick. The outlook for Minnesota isnt brighter - theyre 3-5 and we’re 7-2. Thats franchise altering.
