  1. I say Saskatchewan in the 3rd.
  2. Heckuva find, I cant believe they didnt notice the Illinois helmet.
  3. Yuck on that draft. Deep at receiver, really?
  4. Profootballtalk is reporting Bills want to trade up to 3 to get Kalil.
  5. Profootballtalk is now reporting the Bills are extremely interested in Barron. God I hope this isnt true.
  6. One thing I like about the Bills going foward is despite these big contracts we have signed, we will still have contracts to get rid off, possibly next off season that will hopefully allow us re-sign Byrd and Levitre and Wood if he gets healthy. I dont see guys like Merriman, Kelsay, McGee, McKelvin, Dwan and Spenser Johnson part of this team beyond 2012. Thats a nice chunk of money to keep re-signing our own core F/As.
  7. That guy can write some seriously funny stuff. In defense of draftniks, and especially Bills draftniks, this is the one time of year I can at least imagine getting better players on this team.
  8. I think you'll see the Bills package some picks and move up in round 2 or 3.
  9. +3 You want to help the secondary, get some guys who can bring some heat. I dont see Merriman the answer in a 4-3, Carrington and Dwan dont seem like 4-3 ends and Kelsay will be or is 33. I say get 2 DEs in the draft early. The Steelers have been in 3 superbowls fairly recently, all without any shutdown or even a probowl corner.
  10. My biggest fear, if we dont extend Freddie is the Pats signing him after next season. Belichick loves veteran RBs and knows what Fred can do. I would hate to see Fred putting up 150 yards from scrimmage up against us twice a year in a Pats uniform.
  11. As far as Kellen Moore goes, I thought I was being generous with the 5th round. The guy is a sub 6 foot, lefty without NFL arm strength. I realize he won a lot of games in college but so did Danny Wuerffel and Ken Dorsey. What round did Dorsey get drafted in? Oh yeah the 7th. Draftek doesnt know what they're doing if they have him going in the 3rd. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2012_QB http://nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=71028&draftyear=2012&genpos=QB
  12. Totally agree, 1000 yards, probowl, it has to be a 5th.
  13. Kellen Moore in round 3 is about 2 rounds too high.
  14. Kind of ironic Polian gets out of Buffalo because of Ralph's nepotism with his daughter, now Polian gets run because of his nepotism with the Colts.
  15. Whoever gets Blackmon is going to be happy with that guy.
  16. I dont see it, besides they could franchise him too.
  17. KC has more cap room than the Bills, they will resign Bowe.
  18. Biggest suprises: 1. Beating the Patriots 2. Rogers showed a lot for a late round pick 3. The offensive line, played better than anyone thought 4. Spiller, I was wrong about him, but he showed me and a lot people what he can do 5. Barnett adequately replaced Poz for 3-4 million less a season. Biggest disappointments: 1. That Edwards didnt start Moats at OLB, if we are rebuilding why not give the young guys playing time, why try and convert at a big DL(Johnson) into a OLB. I was hoping Moats could get into the 5-7 sack range this yr. 2. That we went into a season with a WR corp of Stevie and bunch of FA's 3. The defense gave up more points than the previous year. 4. Merriman and the continuing injuries 5. Gailey turning the offense into the run and shoot. Chan limiting Spillers touches too much. 6. We havent improved on our Jauron era W-L record in 2 years
  19. Pittsburgh has too much D for Denvers pathetic offense. I think Pittsburghs defense may outscore Tebow and the offense.
  20. Strength of schedule.
  21. I dont know how anybody could give him a B or A-. He's taken a 6-10 team and gone 4-12 and this year looks like 5-11. Anyway you cut it, thats not progress.
  22. I thought Ngatas Ravens put a pretty good whooping on Lil Donte's Niners earlier in the year.
  23. Low but this is the time of year you can start to begin to imagine a different Bills team in 2012. I have zero expectations for the last two games. So I can just accept our draft position improves each week, and yeah, I would be rather drafting higher with this front office. So enjoy the holidays and watch the bowl games. Watch the games of the best college OLBs, OTs, QBs, WRs, think about free agents. Chan and Nix are going to get 3 seasons. I think the 2011 draft is way better than the 2010 draft. I think you could tell the changes in the scouting department. Dareus is the real deal, Williams looks like a solid starter who's going to improve, the corner Rodgers is really showing some stuff lately, Shep Im not sure about. Where the guys from the 2010 draft after Spiller havent made much progress from their rookie years(Troup, Batten, Moats, Carrington, etc). The Bills need depth by getting about 5 starters in the off season, and guys we presently have starting should be backups. We need a 2009 draft where we hit on the first rounder too. If the Bills have multiple picks in the 4th and 5th, I can see them making moves up to get more picks in this first 3 rounds. Add that with one free agent that can start, better luck with injuries, a new defensive coordinator, yeah I got some hope for next year.
