Fiscally responsible, what a joke. He overpays on a lot of re-signings and mid/meh FAs. 70 million in dead money last year, 30 million for Diggs not to play for us, 30 some this year, over the cap next year. Wait until he see's how NE improves with their cap space next year.

I was just looking at their drafts, yes he's traded a lot of firsts. 2 1s for Goff, 2 1s for Stafford, 2 1s for Jalen Ramsey. But boy he is a fan of having a lot of picks despite the 1s hes traded. 2024 10 picks, 2023 14 picks, 2022 8 picks, 2021 9 picks. If you look at the games played by these picks, its a lot. Probably why they are in a good cap situation. A lot of guys on cheap rookie contracts. The trade he made with Atlanta, moving out of the first, got him a 2nd and a 7th last year, and the 2026 first round pick, he moved up how many spots. Currently the 26th pick in the first round of the 25 draft he turned in the 11th pick in 26 draft and he got picks in return, not giving up picks.

Landon Jackson who maybe the Michael Penix of DE's.

I think anytime you're in the last spot, 7th, and assume you 're going to make it, is whistling past the graveyard.

Im hearing Brad Pitt in moneyball saying were trying to recreate him in the aggregate. It aint working. Good news Isaiah Hodgins has more receiving yards this season than speedster Curtis Samuel and Hodgins has played 2 games.

The '22 draft class netted CB1 Trent McDuffie, sack leader George Karlaftis, starting safety Bryan Cook, key cornerbacks Jaylen Watson, Nazeeh Johnson and Josh Williams, impact linebacker Leo Chenal and bulldozing running back Isiah Pacheco. But keep harping on they missed on Skye Moore in this draft. Thats a lot of starters from one class.
