I dont need AI for 67-71 I lived those years. I stand by what I said that no Bills fan is spoiled. Yankee fans are spoiled, Celtic fans are spoiled, Patriot fans are spoiled. Chief fans right now are spoiled. The poster I responded to said very young fans are spoiled. They've seen McD commit coaching malpractice in the 13 second game with his no squid/outside contain prevent D. They've seen Bass miss the kick and Kincaid's drop. They've seen heartbreak. Marty Shottenheimer took the Browns, Chiefs and Chargers to the playoffs, no one ever said fans of those teams were spoiled. No, Bills fans are for sure not spoiled.

Following this team for over 50 years, I can say without hesitation that no Bills fan is spoiled.

Good luck with that 49ers. -
I think the 23 Titans schedule release was great.
-
Me too, thought it was pretty lame.

If any older peeps remember the Kurt Russell comedy in the 70s--Used Cars "That price is too $#$%%#G high!!!
-
They better put the discount on soon, its too much just for 11 or so non-national Bills games for us out of market fans.

UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal

i turned to this Birmingham game, is there 2 thousand people in attendance? -
So it is true, and it really is an insane stat.
-
Totally, agree this isn't copying the Eagles, its always been true, see the Giants vs the Pats, etc.

With 3 FA signing on D, 6 draft picks, eventually Sean is going to have to do more with more. If the season in 25-26 ends the same way, I dont wont to hear about injuries or the usual excuse, well theyre young guys, takes time, etc. Ive heard it before, its tired and old. You cant keep milking that excuse bull. Young guys, dont want to hear it, how many young guys did Spags play the season after 13 seconds? Injuries, every team has injuries.

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
billsfan714 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs and Ravens. Ravens with that power running game against our D is always a concern, and not sure you can count on turnovers to stop them. As for the Chiefs, it's just beyond obvious that Reid and Spags vs Sean and whoever our O coordinator is, well big advantage Chiefs. -
I think thats exactly what the stat is saying, Josh is better but lacks a championship D.
-
Personally, I think it's an indictment of Sean. I was all in going hard on defense in the draft. Have we had massive injuries all 4 times? D is supposed to be his wheelhouse, I haven't seen when it counts most. The superbowl also showed it can be done, don't want to hear about excuses.

Bill Belichick Interview CBS Sunday Morning

If I was his mullet haired son, I would be worried about the will when Bill gets near the end. -
Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
billsfan714 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
One thing about the 5th WR that Sal mentioned is they'll have to play special teams. Its why I think letting Hollins go was a mistake,he was a very good special teamer and a good blocker in the run game, beside his timely catches and tds. I dont see that in any of the top 4 guys. Shakir did some returning, but thats about it. Palmer played some special teams so maybe it is him. Can Shavers be that guy, maybe. -
Our strength was offense, our achilles heel is defense, its that simple.

I would add in the games down the stretch against Stafford/Rams and Goff/Lions, the defense wasn't just bad, it was embarrassing. -
Some fans want to hold the offense to a nearly impossible standard of having to score on almost every drive. Yet in the playoffs were quick to blame an injury for a defensive failure year after year. Personally Im tired of that excuse. I look at how the Chiefs retooled their secondary after the 13 second game and it paid off for them. The depth on defense has been a problem for a while now, especially in the secondary. I see 6 guys drafted who hopefully will be here for 4 years on rookie contracts on defense that can grow together and get better. My god look at what the Philly D did to KC in the superbowl. KC got some junk tds at the end, other than that they pretty much shut them down. And wasnt the Philly D pretty abysmal just a few years ago.

Totally agree, a 3rd for one season of Amari was not worth it.
-
The mighty Chiefs offense scored more than 30 points exactly once last year, and it was against us.
-
I dont know how anyone watching towards the end of last year, the games against the Rams and Lions, saying you know what were lacking, a WR. Scoring wasn't the problem. I said before this stat stood out to me, we allowed the 5th worst completion percentage on defense, there were only 4 teams worse than us. Not going to win championships being that bad on D.
