  1. Yeah… there are some corners that can convert to safety… like I could see Taron playing safety instead of nickel corner at some point… Benford maybe…. TreD isn’t that type.
  2. When I hear the sentiment they don’t spend on offense I think about the full price QB, LT, WR1, overpriced imo TE2, first and second rd TE1 and OL and RB1. As well as the high dollar center. That’s 7 of 11 spots. 2023 cap split is pretty even between o and D next year- 63% of cap is committed to the offense right now.
  3. Absolutely- if they can McDermott the defense likely needs a major makeover the entire back 7 is probably in question. There might be one of two other guys that could work with it as is.
  4. They should never again pay a premium contract or draft pick on corner. They’ve well proven they can find bargain talent to fit the scheme and the TreD contract and Elam pick are just insult to injury. Hyde, Benford, Dane, Cam Lewis, Poyer, Levi Wallace even Taron Johnson. hell going back even Josh Norman is an example.
  5. He’s been doing this a long time. There’s the pre game self induced vomiting too. odd dude
  6. total guess based how he Twice seemed in pain near the top of the release in throwing motion and remembering similarities… this article summarizes why this speculation based on similarities. But hope that it’s just a wrist for his sake. https://larrybrownsports.com/football/bengals-joe-burrow-brock-purdy-injury/624143
  7. Pain when throwing ball… looks like the UCL stuff we all saw up close last year.
  8. can’t fire players or fire himself. Splitting hairs but I see him as more the sacrificial lamb.
  9. The point is the defense is holding their own keeping opposing points low, as decimated as they are, and this offense should be blowing opponents doors off. if you take out their 3 good offensive games, here is the run.., 16, 20, 14, 25, 24, 18, 22 under 20 ppg. that’s why they lose. Can’t score points on good defenses.
  10. Yeah he’s toast…. He’s retreated from the head coach job and is pointing a finger at the offense, defending the defense… to the press. There’s no more team stuff… it’s us and them. He looks like a cornered animal…. this isn’t getting recovered
  11. doesn’t it seem like he’s having way too much fun right now to sign up for a grind like coaching?
  12. That’s an outstanding point - Are you referring to how he was traditionally very low ints or something else?
  13. Top of mind … -Wide right -Therms Helmet - Ronnie Harmon drop v Cleveland - music city miracle - Primetime pats with not just mckelvin fumble, but 2 Ben Watson TDs same play - prime time v Dallas -joshs failed qb keeper v titans - Jacksonville last minute TD by leftwich - Flutie fumble - Miami clock expiration - minny OT INT There’s probably 20 more
  14. a couple nuggets I’ve unearthed in the past few days: 1) McDermott in the interview hit on Josh needing more anticipation instead or reacting during the play. This is the offense Josh said he liked in the off-season and as the reason he didn’t over indulge on film. I think Dorsey failure was allowing too much play flexibility wrt to Wr option routes and placating Allen wanting a structured run and shoot type passing game 2) RPO- a telecasted joked that in player interviews one of the lineman said the Bills called it PRO…. Because it was alway a pass read and never run 3) yesterday on mcafee, Aaron Rogers said almost the same thing Brady told Allen about his play. The ball needs to come out on schedule. Rodgers critique of Allen was almost identical to Tom. Improvise when you really have to but not every play. Ball has to come out on time. He said on time 15 times when talking about the issue with The bill’s offense. Take the open flat etc. My guess is Dorsey needed to manage Josh and not be his enabler…. That was his undoing. Can Brady be a hard ass now and force Allen to do the homework, read presnap and get the ball out on time. That will be the question.
  15. This is great news; they banked 3 super-bowls worth of severity last year alone
  16. I’m sure they keep a pulse on social media like every corporation and have some one plugged into this rolling up generalities.
  17. not true. Some people are motivated by money and will do as much more as they have to for more money. some like the power some like the relationships or the teams some have some passion they want to pursue some want to make a difference or like the cause not everyone’s career goal is maximum pay for minimal effort - whenever my job feels too easy I start looking for more to do myself. maybe sal is disenfranchised because the glamour or fun has washed away.
  18. Some people’s career aspirations don’t center around getting paid for nothing
