  1. Geez, this really does make me feel like Pegula et. al. haven't a clue.....Please please please Terry - hire someone to run football operations and leave that person alone....
  2. OMG - I just had a flash back to senior year math at WEHS....because I was/am not able to grasp anything beyond algebra I have been forced to live the life of thinking the Bills actually just sucked for 17 years....i had no idea the odds of accomplishing that feat.....we need a shirt or a hat or something to memorialize this.....
  3. That story by Gleason was just wonderful....if you haven't read it you should.....made me think of a conversation I had with my dad three weeks before he passed....
  4. You did well on the Calculus Regent Exam, didn't you? Show off......
  5. I kinda agree with Roth....Whaley's been with the team over six years as Director of Pro Player Personnel or GM and the team ain't got much to show for it.....as long as Pegula is starting over start with a clean canvas.
  6. Hadn't thought of this but you're on to something.....thanks for giving me another reason to not to enjoy the few wins the team gets....
  7. Yeah, so far his dive into professional sports hasn't really worked out from a win/lose perspective, but I imagine he's still making money off both teams so that's probably what matters to him most....Maybe TBDer's can set up a "Go Fund Me" drive to help him off-set some of the money to buy out the contract......
  8. Doesn't Pegula have 12 million reasons to keep him? Or am I mistaken that his contract is guaranteed?
  9. in the AFC East.....that may give the Bills a chance.... As much as I think Carpenter has had a challenging season this year (trying to be kind on Christmas eve) he didn't cost the Bills the playoffs....the entire team, front office, and coaching staff cost the Bills the playoffs....
  10. I imagine most Bills fans feel this way, i certainly do....and did. I figured a turnover would do them in.
  11. it shouldn't have come down to that play (stupid as it was). When the offense has 500+ total yards you expect a win in regulation....Instead Fat Boy's defense laid low again....
  12. i wish it wasn't raining....otherwise I'd go play golf....ugggg...how do you not get up for a game like this?
  13. I just can't conceive of Miami winning in Orchard Park in December.....it just shouldn't happen so I'll go with my heart and say Bills 20 - Fish 13......i hope, i hope, i hope.....
  14. Just got back to Richmond, VA from the game and the pleasure of parking in Hammer's lot - what a great experience! I met Hammer's brother, Sledge and parked next to Tom Cat from Jamestown, saw the famed Pinto of Pinto Ron (or is it Kenny) fame....now I feel like my Bill's life is complete! I highly recommend the Hammer experience!
  15. What IT is referred to here? A loss to Cleveland? The entire 1983-86 seasons were pretty dark, the late 60's early 70's were pretty dark and the loss to Pittsburgh a few years back to keep us from finally breaking the streak (though at that point it was a baby streak) was really dark.
  16. In, coming from Virginia and spending the night before in Dunkirk - not a regular so hope i count. One truck, two people....what time should i leave to be able to get a spot?
  17. selfishly, since my son and i are driving up for the game from Virginia I hope the Bills win....why yes, I did buy the tickets several months ago when i thought this game might have meaning and it was still 80 degrees out....son of a biscuit.....
  18. "Boy, those silent but deadly one's really are the worst....."
  19. it may not be ten years but if Pegula does decide to fire Ryan (and maybe the GM too) then it will be at least a couple more years while they rebuild (again).
  20. If the team beats Pittsburgh then the lock of the year is the Browns over the Bills the following week in the annual "crap the bed" game.....
  21. That's exactly what i was thinking....the greatest Bill of the all, or at least tied for the greatest came out of the Tidewater area (757)...... Didn't folks call Western PA the "cradle of quarterbacks" at one time? Johnny U, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, etc. etc. ?
  22. Detroit is slightly above that pile of poop that is Cleveland and Buffalo....wonder if its the Lake Erie water or something?
  23. Explain to me again how the Saber's tanking has helped? Some great young talent, sure, but they've still missed the playoffs for a number of years including the tank years and sure doesn't look good for this season either....not saying that automatically translates to the same thing happening for the Bills. As several have said - bring in a football czar and let him run this team.
  24. I noticed you left Cleveland out of the "not sure we can win..." comment - I'm not so sure that after losing to Pittsburgh this team will pack it in and lose to the Brownies....plus, since I'll be at that game it almost assures that the Bills will blow it....
