  1. yeah, that backwards compatibility is nice because I actually do like to pull out old games and would play MVP 2004 as well as the NCAA Football and Basketball games. I still own my PS1-3 games.
  2. Im not sure if I am going to be an adopter of the next Gen... at least early (was a PS4 pre-order). The Storage space crunch really ruined this gen for me. Constantly managing which games I have on the system is annoying, and if I want to pull out a game I dont have installed because I needed to free up space... I need to play the space managing game and install for X amount of time. I really want backwards compatibility to pre-PS4 games as well.
  3. This is the one thing I hated the most. Might as well had him slip on a banana peel and die. I really did not like The Last Jedi for all the reasons hashed about many-a-time. And I am not a hyper-critical star wars nerd or anything. In fact, I have defended the prequel trilogy in the past and I did not hate them.
  4. They made General Hux go from a menacing and formidable leader of the First Order, to a bumbling boob who is the butt of everyone's jokes.
  5. My christmas list: 1 Home Primetime game Open the season at home 3 of the first 5 weeks at home, and 1 or 2 home December games. 1 Away Primetime game. An Early New England match up (they always struggle early).
  6. There are also rumblings that the App may be bundled with ESPN and Hulu.
  7. Maybe my favorite offseason day
  8. The problem with ruff is, the emotional bridge would instantly be reformed, and once again, only an act of congress would get him removed. Years and years too late
  9. 7 dollars is genius. Its a price point that is almost a no brainer for most people. Slowly increase it. Profits
  10. The books are nowhere near where they are now. I dont understand how that scene was a divergence. Dany and Snow are still on different continents in the books.
  11. Cleveland Started being a fan when I was young in the mid-80s. I started rooting for them due to the proximity to Buffalo I guess. Dont know why I didnt drift toward Toronto if that was the criteria though. Lots of tough times as a fan, and a lot of heart-break.. Perfect compliment to the Bills and Sabres though.
  12. Caught up last night I felt the show jumped the shark a bit in season 7, episodes 5 and 6. Very weak plots and lack of logic in the characters and story telling. The last episode was really strong though and recovered well heading into the final season
  13. The Sabres' trade there would result in edmonton getting burned to the ground a little less than the other 2 proposals. Yes. Eichel for McDavid would be the structure with some more going edmonton's way.
  14. Detroit's neglect of hitting on anything near the first few rounds of the draft (except larkin) and the information age (can no longer be at the cutting edge of finding diamonds in europe) has caught up with them.
  15. Check this out https://www.profootballweekly.com/lists/2017/11/29/c3eb88f0b74949878d62de0cfde99f2d/index.xml?page=2
  16. Just got through Battle of the Bastards. It is probably the greatest episode of anything ever.
  17. These were so-so. The change to the retro look was very refreshing and they were on the cutting edge of that, while teams like the Pats, Broncos, Titans, Bills, etc were moving to the hideous pajama looks. If it were me, I would remain with the classic look they currently have, and wear the Al Toon uniforms as a throwback 1 time per year for a primetime game or something like that. I wouldnt want to see them go back to that full-time.
  18. Just like deflategate. Kraft could have admitted some "guilt", paid a fine or maybe some community service, and this thing would have been dead and buried a month ago. And i dont really care, i think prostitution should be legal snd regulated... although i think its strange a billionaire would resort to this avenue. I guess maybe it is his jam and makes him happy. Whatever.
  19. just donated 10 bux. if for nothing else, if this hits mainstream news, that guy who paid $660 for twitter votes will get crushed on social media.
  20. Ugh. Huge downgrade from a pretty classic set.
  21. I would say 8 wins, but in a good way, and not the format of starting out 1-5 and padding the record by winning mid-and late season vs the Giants and Dolphins..... nor starting out 5-1 and setting the season on fire to finish with 1 win in the final 8 games or so. An even-keel 8-wins that shows progress with some young players, legitimately in the playoff race for awhile maybe.... and perhaps up-end the Patriots in a meaningful game 1 time.
  22. looking good in a game is not a validation for anything. Ottawa smoked the Leafs the other day, Detroit beat Pittsburgh last night. The league is designed to get most teams at or near .500. That is what makes losing 15 of 16 games such a feat. And, in this position, a coach crying to the media about how the refs "screwed" them is a really bad and petty look. They failed to win a game in regulation in March, and have won 6 games in regulation out of 43 since Christmas. The referees "screwing" the Sabres isn't what is happening.
  23. IMO, a 2nd Pro Football league will only be viable if/when the NFL deems it as something they want. The NFL can get the viewers. They have the infrastructure, coffers, and brands people have tribal associations with that go back a century in some cases. In the current climate (with the NFL being such a behemoth), I don't think that any secondary pro league will ever be able to get enough traction to remain solvent (Arena League aside, but that is in its death throes). There is nothing compelling about watching C-level amateurs playing for teams that nobody has any attachment to during an offseason part of the cycle. I thought McMahon's "REAL FOOTBALL" idea was interesting, but those games were awful and you cant do that in this day of CTE and litigation, and finding players. Trying to put these teams in NFL size venues is silly. If the NFL decided that a developmental league is something they desire, they would create a league in locations of their choosing, and if it would have a nearly unlimited financial safety net to get through a few seasons before roots were took hold in the cities/towns chosen to host teams. They already have broadcasting partners and the means to produce games for a viewing audience. I think if a game had some connection with the Bills and there were some practice squad guys, or maybe that CFL receiver they brought in... or maybe a flyer QB they are trying to develop, I would watch some, and at the very least, follow progress and box scores.
  24. they seem to think it was made up and a conspiracy theory https://www.titansreport.com/topic/35689-jamal-accused-of-rigging-a-twitter-poll/
