  1. I would like that. Decent balance, and not so heavy on the late-season home games.
  2. Yeah, they were just as good. Only lasted like 4 years though.
  3. I would say there are 4 shows that are near perfect in execution consistently from beginning to end: Breaking Bad Futurama Mr Show with Bob and David Oz
  4. I usually load up a bit on fantasy for a team I expect to have offense, so I kind of root for that team (dont really care on result, just score points). Currently its Brees and Kamara. I had Rivers and Gates for years in their best stretch. I have always had a general 'liking' for the Browns and Chiefs, but I never gain much satisfaction or disappointment in wins or defeats. For the most part, I root for teams as a result of my hatred for the other team. Rooting against the Patriots I get a bit emotionally invested. I lived in Philadelphia for awhile and strongly rooted against them. Also if the jets are good I strongly root against them. Used to hate the Giants more, prior to conquering evil twice.
  5. Yeah. Couldnt believe the pricing. No way i would pay that
  6. Classic referee. Loved his voice and his first down calls. He still comes to mind fairly often. RIP.
  7. It IS a factor. The cyclical nature of the NFL SHOULD have saddled the Patriots with Division competitors, probably on a regular basis. There has been no competition at the top of the Division, and 6 fairly easy games. Have been able to coast to the finish line a bit, and the edge in schedule has "earned" them a lot of home playoff games and byes.
  8. This is a good idea. I have made some things with ticket stubs. Seems like a great use for sports cards.
  9. The guy has an answer for every team and situation. Could have had jp losman as qb today
  10. Belichick is the man. Brady rode his coat tail to this one
  11. That was when they overproduced cards x10000 and saturated the market. I see them sold by random packs of 50 at the dollar store. Give them to a little kid who likes sports.
  12. Really would like to see robert woods win one. That guy is a gamer
  13. This is kind of like when russ brandon said he was going to create an analytics department and never did. Hasnt been a fair fight
  14. Yes. He was absolutely dominating as a pass catcher, then a bowling ball yac. Great blocker. Best TE ever, i think consensus would agree
  15. That is just a symptom of the garbage management and poor structure. You had a pretty decent scout (mainly defensively), who was very poor with GM fiscal and asset-management duties as well as public speaking (which is a part of it). He (and before him, Nix and Levy) were made GM so Brandon, Wilson, Pegula, Overdorf, etc could rule over him and avoid accountibility. Now, we basically have a CEO of football, albeit a 2-headed one, but I believe they are on the same page (McDermott and Beane).
  16. I like Anthony Lynn. But he has inherited a pretty turnkey operation in San Diego. In hindsight, I wouldn't mind him as head coach, but that would have largely been continuity from Rex Ryan and Whaley, and me and most of the fan base, and probably Pegula was not ready to accept that at the time. I also wonder if they burned that bridge a bit with the way they threw him on the grenade at that season-closing PC With the purging of the Brandon-Nix-Whaley-etc circle, I do feel like the Bills are back in the game as far as competent management who aren't making decisions to just keep fans at bay and preserve their jobs and insulate upper management/ownership.
  17. The goal is to out-last Belichick and prove that it was all/mostly Brady. IMO, the Pats suffer and fall back to the planet if/when Belichick leaves. I know he wasnt a huge factor this season, but Gronk retiring will have a big effect on the offense. Teams are going to be able to sell out for the run better.
  18. None of the coaches they have had are worth anything and went on to make any noise at all as a head coach after the bills. Maybe mularky and marrone who both quit (which is unique). QBs? Same thing. Other than them pulling fitzpatrick from under their own feet too quickly... nothing. They werent even particularly proactive about finding a QB. And when you have clown shoes for head coaches and quarterbacks, you are going to churn OCs as well. It isnt a "continuity" problem. It was a systemic organization management, decision making, and structure problem that has been hopefully fixed
  19. My mother did both at the same time. She was/is very happy she did. If it were me, I would do the same. Knock it out and move on.
  20. I disagree about Titans/Rams The Rams were a flash of brilliance with Warner and the Greatest show on turf, after being a joke most of my football watching life. I was still a bit bitter at the Titans for music city miracle. As far as Super Bowl zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz match-ups, I got Giants Ravens Steelers Cardinals Colts Bears Buccaneers Raiders
  21. I have no idea how the Patriots got into the Super Bowl again. They didnt look real solid all season. Just eeked out wins when they had to. They dont look like a Conference Champion team. They are boring, and really dont have an interesting identity at this point.
  22. I probably will. Only one i missed since XX was the steelers/Seahawks one. Very tired of the patriots though. Chiefs Rams would have been great
  23. Man. Much needed and appreciated
  24. I thought he was funny. He was nervous. It seems like he has social anxiety issues... and also needed to be extremely careful tiptoeing with his words to avoid making headlines. Great conversation with kasich as well.
