  1. Directv is going to be obsolete sooner than later. The telecoms will probably control the FCC to get the rules slanted in their favor for awhile longer, but it cant stop the inevitable. Streaming is going to be the future, and we wont see 1 or 2 offerors. We will have Disney, and Netflix, and HBO, etc breaking off with their own apps and fees. It will be a matter of time until sports leagues go with primarily streaming.
  2. Since AT&T took over, Directv's customer service (the one thing that kept me a loyal customer) has taken a dive to non-existent. I am going to be tossing it within the next 2 months.
  3. Good schedule. Get through the jets and giants, then 5 of 6 at home with a bye week in there
  4. The external hard drive option is more of a recent development.
  5. He is this generations version of eddie george for me Without fail ends up on my fantasy teams and disappoints. Yet i always end up with him
  6. is ruslol salvatore going to be sad the game is the week before Thanksgiving weekend?
  7. @Miami first week of the season is a bad draw
  8. yeah, that backwards compatibility is nice because I actually do like to pull out old games and would play MVP 2004 as well as the NCAA Football and Basketball games. I still own my PS1-3 games.
  9. Im not sure if I am going to be an adopter of the next Gen... at least early (was a PS4 pre-order). The Storage space crunch really ruined this gen for me. Constantly managing which games I have on the system is annoying, and if I want to pull out a game I dont have installed because I needed to free up space... I need to play the space managing game and install for X amount of time. I really want backwards compatibility to pre-PS4 games as well.
  10. This is the one thing I hated the most. Might as well had him slip on a banana peel and die. I really did not like The Last Jedi for all the reasons hashed about many-a-time. And I am not a hyper-critical star wars nerd or anything. In fact, I have defended the prequel trilogy in the past and I did not hate them.
  11. They made General Hux go from a menacing and formidable leader of the First Order, to a bumbling boob who is the butt of everyone's jokes.
  12. My christmas list: 1 Home Primetime game Open the season at home 3 of the first 5 weeks at home, and 1 or 2 home December games. 1 Away Primetime game. An Early New England match up (they always struggle early).
  13. There are also rumblings that the App may be bundled with ESPN and Hulu.
  14. Maybe my favorite offseason day
  15. The problem with ruff is, the emotional bridge would instantly be reformed, and once again, only an act of congress would get him removed. Years and years too late
  16. 7 dollars is genius. Its a price point that is almost a no brainer for most people. Slowly increase it. Profits
  17. The books are nowhere near where they are now. I dont understand how that scene was a divergence. Dany and Snow are still on different continents in the books.
  18. Cleveland Started being a fan when I was young in the mid-80s. I started rooting for them due to the proximity to Buffalo I guess. Dont know why I didnt drift toward Toronto if that was the criteria though. Lots of tough times as a fan, and a lot of heart-break.. Perfect compliment to the Bills and Sabres though.
  19. Caught up last night I felt the show jumped the shark a bit in season 7, episodes 5 and 6. Very weak plots and lack of logic in the characters and story telling. The last episode was really strong though and recovered well heading into the final season
  20. The Sabres' trade there would result in edmonton getting burned to the ground a little less than the other 2 proposals. Yes. Eichel for McDavid would be the structure with some more going edmonton's way.
  21. Detroit's neglect of hitting on anything near the first few rounds of the draft (except larkin) and the information age (can no longer be at the cutting edge of finding diamonds in europe) has caught up with them.
  22. Check this out https://www.profootballweekly.com/lists/2017/11/29/c3eb88f0b74949878d62de0cfde99f2d/index.xml?page=2
  23. Just got through Battle of the Bastards. It is probably the greatest episode of anything ever.
  24. These were so-so. The change to the retro look was very refreshing and they were on the cutting edge of that, while teams like the Pats, Broncos, Titans, Bills, etc were moving to the hideous pajama looks. If it were me, I would remain with the classic look they currently have, and wear the Al Toon uniforms as a throwback 1 time per year for a primetime game or something like that. I wouldnt want to see them go back to that full-time.
