  1. I didnt think this was the offseason to sign a bunch of average players. I was hoping for studs.
  2. We only need a WR and TE on offense. The Bills need an edge rusher, OLB, and depth at CB and DT on the defensive side.
  3. I think you are probably right. His yearly average seems low so you would think most of the cash is guaranteed.
  4. I doubt the defense would have been ranked 3rd if our interior defensive lineman were bad.
  5. This thread will likely be deleted to allow for more veteran members to begin the discussion.
  6. The cap goes up every year. This will always happen and its fine. The players have a way to always be highest paid. Sign 1 year deals and play well. Besides Reavis they don't do that because they want the security a long term deal provides. Due to that, people will pass them by.
  7. Picking up cheap players who at one point in their career played at a high level is a proven way to win. Prior the the Patriots first Super Bowl with Brady they added 19 free agents. These included Bryan Cox, Roman Phifer, and Antoine Smith. All three guys of those guys had good seasons for New England. If Norman can't play then he will get cut or be one year and done in Buffalo. I don't see any downside to this. It should also make the draft compensation crowd happy, lol. I think there is no way that we qualify for a compensation pick next year considering we have over 80 million in cap space. If Norman plays well then leaves, we might get a pick 2 years from now.
  8. Cooper or try everything in your power to get a #1 WR in the draft. Allen needs a stud WR on the field with Brown and Beasley.
  9. All of these hypothetical questions are difficult to answer without knowing who is available. I would be willing to trade up from 22 for the right guy. I would be willing to trade down to 35 if I thought the player I got there was as good as the guy I would have taken at 22. I would use 22 then trade back into the first round for talented player who fits a need. It all depends right. You can set these trades up in advance. They just have to be conditional. If (certain player is there or my guy is not there) we have a deal.
  10. I think he will be our starting LG. This would not mean the Bills have given up on him. He has the potential to be a great guard and has struggled at RT. I think the Bills want to upgrade RT.
  11. My original point is that they shouldn't be opposed to signing a stud free agent or trading up for a guy they believe in. I want a true #1 WR.
  12. Yep there will be good ones drafted late. Most teams will end up with a dud however.
  13. Be prepared to end up with the next Zay Jones. WR is a position that teams miss on all of the time.
  14. A lot of the so called quality WRs will not make it. If they believe strongly that one will be great why not trade up to acquire a great player at a position of need. If they can stay put and get a WR of equal value to the ones take earlier then great. Many believe that the top 3 are much better than the 2nd tier.
  15. I guess the introduction legal tampering hasn't stopped illegal tampering.
  16. He would be good in Buffalo and would fill one of the team's largest needs. I'm not sure he is interested in Buffalo, but Buffalo should be interested in him.
  17. Completely agree. Very few Bills have a resume that can match Brown's.
  18. I'd be willing to bet that Ford does play guard next year.
  19. Was the game on tv? I seem recall it being a black out since the game was not sold out.
  20. They are really good at evaluating and drafting defensive players. Maybe it is best to lean on free agency to fill offensive needs.
  21. Now list the ones that were bad. It will be a long list.
  22. Very few of the comp picks work out. Dak Prescott being the most notable exception.
