  1. Seems like making the running game a priority, prevents Josh and the wr’s from getting into any sort of rhythm
  2. Agreed. Too many injuries on defense to try and trade to fill all those missing pieces. The only option is trading for a stud wr. I do think one of the glaring weaknesses with our offense is the lack of speed to keep defenses honest. Although Mike Evans isn’t a speed guy, he is a huge target and red zone threat. He’s no spring chicken, but has enough left to make a difference and probably won’t cost a ton. I feel like he offers the most bang for your buck and would be a difference maker.
  3. Our oline really stepped it up at the end of that year. That was the difference in the shaky start and us being white hot heading into the playoffs that year.
  4. Hopefully this trade encourages Beane to go make a play for Dhop
  5. Absolutely, especially considering we suck at drafting.
  6. I agree they need to invest in the oline, but also need depth at other positions. It’s seems like the dline and qb are the only positions in which we have serviceable serviceable backups.
  7. Man it seems like the offense sure started to sputter once Morse went down
  8. So what’s the rule, any hit on a defenseless player equals an ejection??
  9. Make sure you are gripping the ball properly. It’s the number one factor into throwing a spiral.
  10. To be fair, OBJ’s catches and yards in a Championship game are greater than Shakir’s career totals.
  11. He’s definitely moving up. Not sure how far or for whom, but he’s not staying put.
  12. Afraid of a blind side cheap shot, which at the time was legal.
  13. I agree. I think biggest reason for his success is his willingness to evolve with the game. Seems like his first two years he was pretty old school and very conservative. Felt like he was trying to not lose games, rather than win them. He’s not perfect but the past few years he seems more willing to roll the dice and take some chances that he never would have dreamed of early on in his career. In short, he no longer coaches like he’s scared. He is a great leader and much like Josh, he’s has improved each and every year.
  14. We should never run the ball inside the ten yd line unless it’s with Josh. It’s a wasted play EVERY single time
  15. That frustration should be directed towards the front office, not Josh. Josh is far from perfect, but he needs legitimate weapons on offense to succeed. Beasley and Brown are way better than last year WR corps; however he lacks a true #1 WR or an above average TE. Again Josh is far from perfect, but our lack of talent on offense is undeniable.
