All-22 Grades for Bills/Packers (The Athletic)
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he was trying too hard to be Ryan Bates and forgot to be Rick Bates. In the words of Mufasa, “Remember who you are.” -
It’s really hard to do what he does, simultaneously being the unquestioned leader and just one of the guys, all while not appearing to intentionally cultivate either persona.

Baldy breakdowns from Packers game
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier was putting 6 men in the box and letting them run. In games where we focused on stopping the run, like against the Titans and Henry, we stopped the run. That Packers game included we allow the 4th fewest rushing yards per game. It's not a weakness. -
Baldy breakdowns from Packers game

Our DL might be the best unit in the NFL (mind you, not the best DL unit, THE BEST UNIT). Beane took a couple great first rounders in Oliver and Rousseau and then added a hugely overlooked Daquan Jones, diamond in the rough Tim Settle, infectiously personable Jordan Phillips (who just seems destined for a huge sack in the playoffs, right?)...and oh by the way first ballot hall of famer Von Miller who still plays like a 25 year old. -

No!!! Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins!
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dolphins are living rent free in some of your heads after a week 3 loss in which we dominated everything but the scoreboard and then proceeded to win the next 4 games and counting. Does Chubb make them better? Absolutely. But I am 100% fine with them spending their cache of draft picks in a vain attempt to catch us. -
Bills v Jets - Battle for Division?
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
These Jets are like the 2011 Bills. Hot start, likable team, goes down in flames when the real competition shows up. -
Coordinators not adapting schemes
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was truly bizarre. They’re in desperation mode at 3-4 yesterday and they didn’t even try to let their HoF QB win them the game. -

Rodgers completing a TD drive happened exactly once outside garbage time. -

I think Leslie Frazier knows how to put 8 guys in the box. Packers were slowly drinking poison with their offensive play calling and he was letting them.- 195 replies

Ok. Check my post history, I’m like 99% positive on the team. -

I am not with the doomers who lose their minds whenever we give up a first down but…that was not a great game. We made enough mistakes that a team with better weapons would probably have beaten us or at least made it come down to the last second. -
Cook and Shakir…our 2nd and 5th picks
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Aussie Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s no reason to expect Cook to touch the ball more than 5-7 times a game this season. It’s a passing team at heart and Motor is in the inner inner circle of guys Josh trusts as a runner and more importantly as a pass blocker.
