  1. Well they won't get Jeanty if they do because he will be a Raider at 6...just cant see anyway Jeanty gets passed the Raiders at this point.
  2. Ive been pounding the drum for Thornton all off season, I really think he has untapped potential to be more than just a vertical threat...but even as a vertical threat only, he fits what we really need. And through that, I have been scouring everywhere to see any mention of any kind that would link him to the Bills. Sadly, to this day, have not found a single shred to suggest our interest yet. And that concerns me as its not in Beane's DNA to draft guys they haven't met with. Now that doesn't mean they haven't met with him in some capacity, but I have just not been able to find any info on any kind of meeting, zoom, etc with Thornton which makes me feel the odds of him becoming a Bill are lower than I am hoping for.
  3. Look at the balls on you having the audacity to disagree with something I said! Wow dude...wow. Hahaha j/k...all good man, just teasing and I always appreciate your opinion and other views, so thanks for sharing. To be clear...I like Cook and prefer Cook remain a Bill...just not at what he is asking. I personally just don't think he is worth over paying for because he hasn't been, and I don't think he should be, a bell cow elite RB like the guys he wants to be paid like or make more money than. IMHO...he isn't great at pass pro, is just an ok receiver (struggles when he has to track the ball), and is guy who will be at his best as part of a duo more than a bell cow RB. And as much as I like Ty, he is a journeyman RB and yet it was Ty who was on the field for the most important Bills drive in 2 decades against KC. I am all for keeping Cook, but I don't personally think he is elite because he got a bunch of short yardage TD's. IMHO, that was thanks to the combo of teams accounting for Josh Allen as a runner/passer in short situations and an excellent OL. If Ray Davis got all the short and goal carries, I think he would have a bunch of TD's too. I don't think it makes Cook "special" and he wants to be paid as if he is "special". But just because I don't think he is "elite" doesn't mean I don't like him, I mean I do think he has been a good player here. I am however skeptical he replicates the same kind of success without Allen and this OL.
  4. I don’t know if you understand what elite means. I mean you just said he’s not in the same class as actual elite RBs while trying to still say he is elite.
  5. You need to stop referring to Cook as elite. He can’t even beat out a journeyman RB to get on the field on third downs. Elite RBs aren’t liabilities on 3rd down and cede the field to journeyman.
  6. Can I still blame having 2 boys under 2? hahaha
  7. Lol...there was only 1 round of picks, so thought it was 1 round so took the Rams lol. Oh well, at least they have 2 picks in round 3...but gonna be forever before I pick again zzzzzzz
  8. Wasnt this supposed to be just 1 round? I would have at least picked a team who had 2nd round pick lol
  9. Ha, fair...but I actually do like Dart. Although, that being said, I don't think the Steelers are the best spot for him because I think he is better off going somewhere he doesn't have to play right away and can sit behind a good or better vet a season or two. He has a lot of exciting things about him, but he also has things he needs to clean up at the next level. I actually think the Rams would be one of the ideal spots for him.
  10. I thought that too until they wound up with Mason Rudolph at QB with a roster that can compete now with a better QB. And there is talk now that they are looking at Jaxson Dart, who honestly, I think has as high of a ceiling as any QB in this draft.
  11. I really don't expect Dart to be on the board in the real draft when the Rams pick, honestly can't see how ever gets past the Steelers if he even makes it that far. But, if he is there like he was in this mock when the Rams are on the clock, I cant imagine they would pass him up given Stafford is really only there one more season for sure and he would be a great person for Dart to sit behind and learn from as Stafford excels at some of the areas Dart still needs to improve at the next level.
  12. With the 26th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams select: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss CLICK HERE FOR HIGHLIGHTS Rams had other plans here at 26 not expecting Dart to still be on the board. But the beauty of the draft is in its unpredictability, and with Dart sitting here as the potential heir to Stafford, the opportunity to select him and let him sit and learn from one of the best to ever put on a Rams uniform was just too much to pass up. We love the combination of size and athletic ability that really makes him a modern dual threat type QB. Dart is coming off a college career full of eye popping performances, and we have admired his evolution from raw talent freshman to polished senior where he maintained his aggressive play style while reducing mistakes and turnover-worthy plays. We believe having the time to prepare and develop by learning from a pro like Stafford is only going to increase his potential and ability to reach it, and we couldn't be more excited for his future here with the Rams. @NewEra and the Ravens are now on the clock...
  13. I think its absurd to remove the play personally...however, I would say I do think proponents of the play have a case that on FG/XP kicks, there are way more rules and such on what DL can do to gain leverage. Feels unbalanced or hypocritical to let the offense find ways to use leverage from no carrying players when on defense they cannot use similar techniques to disrupt plays they already have a low chance to disrupt. Here is the complication I think many are missing...players pushing the pile forward happens all over the field. If they want to make it illegal for a player to help push a fellow player who has the ball forward, then that would or should make it illegal anywhere on the field because how is a RB 8 yards up the field getting TE's, WR's, OL etc pushing him and defenders forward towards a first, TD, more yards, etc any different really? So I say let the play stand...if there ends up being a spike in injuries directly related to the play, they can revisit it. But I don't believe that has been the case thus far to where injuries are happing at a higher rate on this play than in general.
  14. This narrative that keeps getting thrown around here is factually not true: Highest scoring AFC team Regular Season: Buffalo Bills (16th greatest offense in NFL history) Highest scoring AFC team during the post season: Buffalo Bills (29 points per game, only 2 less than regular season and against 3 playoff teams) And this was despite having to play 3 games and against 3 tough defenses...which included the Ravens who had the #1 defense the final 2/3rds of the season after they shifted Hamilton in their defense. And not only that, we scored 29 against a KC team that had not offensively scored 30 the whole season...it would be enough to beat them on any other week the entire season and postseason. Same team that was down 34-0 a week later. Speaking of KC "a week later"...in 3 of the games KC eliminated us in the playoffs...they averaged 35 PPG just to lose one week later all 3 times averaging a pathetic 17 PPG...literally less than half of what they avg against us. No disrespect - But to attribute our failure to get over the hump and past KC more to the offense than the defense is to propose a narrative that is not supported by facts and rooted in beliefs and assumptions that are just not accurate, especially this season.
  15. Haha awesome switch up I can see him here...for a while he was slated to be the first WR off the board, but I think he slides in the late teens early 20's personally, and Seattle is a where I think he has a strong chance to go.
  16. This has to be a troll job hahaha
  17. I get that, and nothing you said is really wrong…but I think it would be a pretty big surprise for him to be the first WR off the board inside the top 10 personally. He might be there when we pick I guess that’s fair, but I still would be surprised if he goes top 10 and is first one off the board personally. Don’t get me wrong, I like him, just highly doubt he’s a top 6 drafted player
  18. Emeka isn't very likely to go top 10, this would be like when they took Clelin Ferrel 4th overall...and they don't have those kinds of people in their war room now. I do very much think Jeanty is in play or someone in the trenches. But I would be stunned if it was Emeka. And I know its the "Raiders", but they got real people in charge now not Gruden and a mock drafter at GM like they did when they took Ferrel, who was such a reach Gruden said pre draft they were going to surprise some people at #4.
  19. I would prefer to keep Cook...but Cook and his agent are way overvaluing him. He wants to be paid $15M a year, behind only Saquan and EMC, 2 guys whose league he is not in. But more importantly, Cook is a 2 down RB who becomes a liability on 3rd down because he isn't great at pass pro, which is why a journeyman RB in Ty Johnson has taken over as our 3rd down back. Not to mention, Cook is an unreliable pass catcher, another thing Ty does better than him. And being quite blunt...put Cook on another team where he doesn't have Josh Allen and an elite OL blocking from him, and I don't think he has nearly the same kind of success he has had here. Again...I do like Cook, but IMHO he isn't in the same league as the guys he wants to be paid like, so I don't think we should over pay him to keep him. And with his OL and Josh Allen, we don't need to a high priced RB for this offense to be elite.
  20. Yeah Beane is definitely not done at the position. But, what I think it more likely means is that Beane isn't entering the draft feeling like he has to go WR early. Doesn't mean they wouldn't, which is why they are still meeting with guys expected to go in rounds 1 and 2. If the right guy is there as his BPA when we are on the clock, I have no doubt Beane isn't afraid to pull the trigger. I will say this though...Beane every draft season is pretty spot on in what he says coming into a draft, he does very little misdirection. The fact he said bringing in competition is meaningful, so I think it's probably more likely not until day 3 we will see the Bills make a move at WR. I could easily see us take one in the 4th, or maybe if they haven't already traded up with any of their first 3 picks, they could use some of that extra ammo in rounds 4, 5, and 6 to go get a guy in the 3rd. And this fits Beane's history too where he has guys slated to start and then brings in a mid round guy to develop and for competition (Davis in 4th when we had Diggs and Brown...Shakir in 5th when we signed Crowder for the slot and resigned McKenzie too). Davis and Shakir were drafted as guys to compete and hopefully develop into future starters, which they both did. And a guy I like for us a lot is the one we previously discussed, and that is Thornton maybe as early as the 4th...a guy who brings potential and competition, but more importantly, brings a skill set we lack which is a big vertical threat. Dont get me wrong, I am not against a WR in our first 3 picks in rounds 1 and 2...I am only talking to what I more expect to happen.
  21. I was just clarifying what the other poster was referring to when he called him that.
  22. Rams or what ever you want to give me is fine
  23. He was a sack of beans before the injury having a terrible season
