Ok this is a simple string. We can look back after the end of training camp but pick your players who fit the following categories: Ascending: Player who improves significantly - example - moves from depth to starter Descending: Player who declines significantly - example - moves from starter to depth (stays on the roster but goes to the bench) Shocking: Can be up or down but the player that ascends or descends dramatically and does so unexpectedly Packing: Your surprise cut from the roster My selections are: Ascending: Dawson Knox - yes, I know he is a starter, but I see him moving into a larger role in the 2022 offense and will have increased targets and yards. Descending: Ryan Bates - I know he stepped up and the Bills matched his offer but it would not shock me to see that he ends up back on the bench Shocking: Tough call because the roster is deep and pretty well set - However, opposite Miller I see Groot having a breakout year in a very good way. Packing: This may be easy but Cody Ford has likely seen his last season in a Bills Uni.

The Bills are going to sign him to a meaningless contract with the intent of driving competition among the individuals vying for roster spots. Hardly newsworthy.

Yes, he eats up space in the Bills heavily dependent “coverage defense.” I just don’t see the Bills front office letting him go. On the other hand, it is very telling that they have not already extended him. Based on the latter I could be very wrong.

I can easily see the Bills picking two CB’s in the first three rounds.

Simple idea Allen’s ball goes further faster. while this is all good and I truly mean that it does not simply translate to Lombardi trophies. Josh has two more critical strengths: 1 - competitiveness that is second to none 2 - a burning desire to improve his game His arm talent without those two factors probably leaves him in the middle of the NFL QB herd.

I really like his addition in Buffalo. It is hard to exclude the idea that the Bills will run far more two tight end formations. This does nothing more than give Josh Allen options.

The Bills have certainly performed some magic with the cap this year.

The Bills take BPA round 1 - miraculously it will be a CB. The Bills are thin at this key position. It would not shock me to see them pick another in rd 2 or rd 3.
